  • Patent number: 10713279
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed that provide enhanced replication for message services. In one implementation, updates to a replication source are replicated to replication targets. The replication is monitored to identify an individual health of the replication for each of the replication targets. A composite health of the replication is determined based on the individual health of the replication for each of the replication targets. The updates to the replication source are then controlled based on the composite health of the replication.

  • Publication number: 20190279132
Abstract: An analytics core and/or an analytics core associated with aggregation are presented. For example, a system includes a monitoring component, a catalog component, a model suite component, and a model processing/learning component. The monitoring component monitor and analyzed data associated with one or more assets. The catalog component manages analytics associated with the one or more assets, where the catalog component manages a set of models for the one or more assets. The model suite component selects a subset of models from the set of models. The model processing/learning component process the subset of models and performs learning associated with the subset of models to predict a health state for the one or more assets.

  • Patent number: 9825869
Abstract: A current request for a server to perform work for a user profile can be received and processed at the server. It can be determined whether server usage by the profile exhibits a sufficient trend toward a threshold value to warrant performing traffic shaping for the user profile. If so, then a delay time can be calculated based on, or as a function of, server resources used in processing the current request, and a response to the current request can be delayed by the delay time.

  • Patent number: 9647957
Abstract: A computing device provides a first server. The first server receives a primary request associated with a client. In response to receiving the primary request, the first server processes the primary request to generate a response message. As part of processing the primary request, the first server sends a secondary request to a second server after a delay period expires. The second server accesses a resource as part of processing of the secondary request. The duration of the delay period depends at least in part on a recent latency level of the client with regard to the resource. In this way, the first server throttles access to the resource.

  • Patent number: 9645856
Abstract: Allocation of computing threads can include receiving a registration of a workload, the registration including a workload classification and a workload priority; monitoring statuses of a plurality of resources; identifying, by a computing device, a thread of a resource from the plurality of resources, the thread being programmed to execute a task associated with the workload; evaluating, by the computing device, the workload classification and the workload priority of the workload with workload classifications and workload priorities of other workloads requesting the thread; and allocating the thread to one of the workloads based on evaluation of the workload classification and the workload priority.

  • Patent number: 9639904
Abstract: A method includes: calculating a load prediction arising from an power consumption entity over a prospective time period; calculating a predicted off-grid power supply from an off-grid power supply; minimizing, for a respective time interval, a calculated amount of electrical-power to import from a power grid, in accordance with output from a cost function; and, for at least one interval, importing, from the power grid, the corresponding calculated amount of electrical-power corresponding to the at least one interval. The cost function uses: (i) a multi-component time of use tariff schedule associated with the power grid that includes a first power rate during a prospective time period and second power rate during a second time period, (ii) the load prediction over the prospective time period, (iii) the predicted off-grid electrical-power supply over the prospective time period, (iv) a state of a rechargeable battery.

  • Patent number: 9537816
Abstract: The disclosed architecture is an application program interface (API) that includes a collection of class members defined in a single class for accessing mailboxes in messaging storage locations in an enterprise organization. Each mailbox in the organization has an identity that primarily encapsulates at least a mailbox server name, a unique mailbox database GUID (globally unique identifier), and a unique mailbox GUID. By encapsulating information associated with a mailbox into one class, database lookups can be optimized and a single source of mailbox information provided for both authentication and display purposes. Other information can also be encapsulated.
