  • Patent number: 11972048
Abstract: A gameplay system for providing interactivity based on a piece of merchandise or another object held or worn by a player. The system includes an object identification assembly, which may be a modified computer vision system, that operates to sense, for a gameplay participant, the presence and identity of a particular augmenting object such as themed merchandise worn or held by a rider of a theme park ride. The sensing may be performed by detecting an on-and-off pattern of light emitted from the object. In response, the gameplay system selects or modifies the interactive features of gameplay associated with the participant based on the identified augmenting object. For example, the interactive features are selected from memory by the gameplay system controller to match a character associated with the augmenting object during any interactive gameplay. This allows the gameplay participant to choose their abilities or powers for gameplay.

  • Patent number: 11796376
Abstract: A fluid sensor system comprises a radio frequency transmitter with adjustable output power, a radio frequency detector proximal to the radio frequency transmitter; a constant current source, and a switch coupled between the radio frequency detector and the constant current source. A method of determining the identity of a fluid using the fluid sensor system includes immersing the sensor system in a first fluid, increasing a transmit power of a radio frequency (RF) transmitter of the fluid sensor system until an RF signal is detected by a RF detector of the fluid sensor system, and determining the transmit power of the RF transmitter that first resulted in a detection of the RF signal by the RF detector to be the transmit power that is required for detecting the RF signal in the first fluid.

  • Patent number: 11509650
Abstract: Methods and systems for mapping a sharable resource using a one-time password are disclosed. An identifier included in a set of provided credentials uniquely associates the one-time password with an executable within a computing environment that hosts the sharable resource. When credentials are received in association with a mapping request, it is determined whether a supplied username corresponds to a user authorized to access the sharable resource and whether a representation of a supplied password received in association with the mapping request matches a representation of the one-time password. Validating the mapping request provides access to the sharable resource.

  • Patent number: 11494170
Abstract: A proxy compiler may be used within a native execution environment to enable execution of non-native instructions from a non-native execution environment as if being performed within the native execution environment. In particular, the proxy compiler coordinates creation of a native executable that is uniquely tied to a particular non-native image at the time of creation of the non-native image. This allows a trusted relationship between the native executable and the non-native image, while avoiding a requirement of compilation/translation of the non-native instructions for execution directly within the native execution environment.

  • Patent number: 11472645
Abstract: Devices and methods for compaction of an asymmetric load are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a movable upper structure is connected to a stationary base structure through front end pivot linkages and rear end pivot linkages. One or more actuators impart motion to the upper structure. The motion of the upper structure is controlled by adjusting the length and position of the pivot linkages. In other embodiments, the pivot linkages are attached to a pull arm that is attached to an actuator, and the pull arm imparts motion to the upper structure.

  • Patent number: 11442714
Abstract: Systems and methods for executing compiled code having parallel code fragments is provided. One method includes storing executable code having a plurality of parallel code fragments, each of the plurality of parallel code fragments representing alternative executable paths through a code stream. The method further includes determining a code level supported by a processor executable at a computing system, the processor executable supporting a hosted computing environment. The method also includes translating the executable code into machine-readable code executable by a processor of the computing system. Translating the executable code includes selecting a code fragment from among the plurality of parallel code fragments for execution based on the code level supported by the processor executable. The method includes executing the machine-readable code within the hosted computing environment.
