  • Patent number: 11359901
Abstract: A munition includes a warhead having a warhead axis and axially opposed first and second warhead ends. The warhead includes: a tubular shock attenuation barrier including an axially extending passage extending from a first barrier end proximate the first warhead end to a second barrier end proximate the second warhead end; an explosive core charge disposed in the passage; an explosive main charge surrounding the shock attenuation barrier; projectiles surrounding the main charge; a core charge detonator; and a main charge detonator. The warhead is configured to be activated in each of a first projection mode and an alternative second projection mode. When the warhead is activated in the first projection mode, the main charge detonator detonates the main charge to thereby forcibly project the projectiles from the warhead with a first set of projection velocities and velocity profile.

  • Patent number: 11361354
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for efficiently upgrading product information stored on a client device to the latest version that reflects the current products offered by a particular establishment. Product information changes frequently, which could result in large upgrade packages. Yet, the time available for downloading the packages onto a device may be severely limited. To improve download time, upgrade packages may be shard based on product commonality within different predefined scopes. For instance, information related to products common across chain-wide establishments may be upgraded using one set of upgrade packages, and information related to products common across region-wide establishments may be upgraded using another set. This upgrade framework helps reduce file size and leverage the edge-caching capabilities of content delivery networks to reduce the time needed to transmit upgrade packages to client devices.

  • Patent number: 11333839
Abstract: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a cable sealing structure comprising a cable sealing body including a gel and methods of making anisotropic behavior in cable sealing structures made with a dry silicone gel. In one aspect, various three-dimensional printing techniques are used to make a cable sealing structure that includes a gel. The cable sealing body has a construction that elastically deforms to apply an elastic spring load to the gel. The cable sealing body has a construction with anisotropic deformation characteristics that allows the cable sealing body to be less deformable in one direction than in others. The cable sealing structure can be utilized to seal fiber optic cables more uniformly while limiting the potential of leakage.

  • Patent number: 11321345
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for generating common objects in a universal format. A stream of data objects is received from each of a plurality of databases. Each stream of data objects includes objects represented in a disparate data type from objects in other streams. A plurality of agents are generated and configured to process data objects of a particular format. For each object, a source database of the data object is identified. An agent of the plurality of agents can be selected based on a database type of the source database. The agent generates a common object from the data object that is represented in a universal format. The common object is stored a graph database of common objects.

  • Publication number: 20220109933
Abstract: A head-worn sound reproduction device is provided in the form of left and right earphones, which can either be clipped to each ear or mounted on other headgear. The earphones deliver high fidelity audio to a user's eardrums from near-ear range, in a lightweight form factor that is fully “non-blocking” (allows coupling in and natural hearing of ambient sound). Each earphone has a woofer component that produces bass frequencies, and a tweeter component that produces treble frequencies. The woofer outputs the bass frequencies from a position close to the ear canal, while the tweeter outputs treble frequencies from a position that is either close to the ear canal or further away. In certain embodiments, the tweeter is significantly further from the ear canal than the woofer, leading to a more expansive perceived “sound stage”, but still with a “pure” listening experience.
