  • Publication number: 20240119383
Abstract: An orchestration system of or otherwise available to a web platform centralizes the execution of workflow components of a workflow associated with a job posting hosted by the web platform using various software services internal and/or external to the web platform. The workflow components and attributes thereof are determined based on the job posting. Domain-specific language (DSL) instructions for the various workflow components are generated. First DSL instructions are invoked by the orchestration system to cause an execution of a first workflow component of the workflow by a first software service. The orchestration system obtains an output of the first workflow component, such as values of relevant attributes, and, based on the output and in some cases information derived other than from the first workflow component, invokes next DSL instructions to cause an execution of a next workflow component of the workflow by another software service.

  • Patent number: 11842366
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for activating electronic coupons via one or more third-party servers. A web-based application programming interface (API) is exposed to a set of online request instructions that are included as part of an electronic coupon configured for electronic transmission from one or more third-party servers of a third party. The web-based API is implemented on an API server hosted by a party different from the third party, and is configured to receive an activation request based on execution of the set of online request instructions by the client device. An electronic coupon is activated for a loyalty profile of a user upon receipt of the activation request.

  • Patent number: 11176567
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for activating electronic coupons via one or more third-party servers. In various aspects, the disclosed electronic coupon system and methods may receive, as part of a request across a computer network, a profile identifier (ID) associated with a loyalty profile of a first user and also associated with an electronic loyalty program of a second party. The request may originate from a client device using request instructions provided from one or more third-party servers. The electronic coupon may be provided by the same or separate third-party, including, for example, provided by a server associated with the same or separate third-party, to the client device for display on the client device. The request may cause the electronic coupon system to activate the electronic coupon for the loyalty profile of the first user.

  • Patent number: 11013956
Abstract: The invention refers to a portable device (100) for upper limb (2, 3) rehabilitation which is movable over a surface, usually a flat horizontal surface, and which comprises means for detecting an intention to move from the user (1), thereby providing assistance/resistance to perform the right movement just when needed, especially when the goal movement is non-deterministic. Additionally, the portable device (100) of the invention comprises a support structure for the forearm of a user (which can be similar to an armrest) which is pivotable, preferably in a direction of the rotational joint of elbow (it pivots vertically around a horizontal axis), thereby allowing free ergonomic elbow and shoulder flexion/extension, but restricting shoulder rotation, which is determined by the orientation of the device in order to avoid injuries.

  • Patent number: 8700204
Abstract: A system for easily locating goods stored in a storage area including a computer coupled with a radio frequency transmitter or transceivers and goods placed in containers that are coupled to hangers that each has distinct electronic addresses. The hangers each have a hook that allows the hangers to be stored on rails coupled to racks in a storage area. The identifications of the goods and the electronic addresses for the corresponding hangers are associated with each other and stored on a computer database. When a user wants to pick up goods stored in the containers, the user inputs the identification for the goods and the computer will cause the radio frequency transmitter to emit a data packet that includes a search address and illumination data. The hangers each compare the search address to the electronic address and if there is a match, the hanger illuminates the light according to the illumination data.
