  • Publication number: 20170165816
Abstract: A hammer wrench has a body having pockets placed in an inner surface of the body, each of the pockets in radial arrangement about an axis such that each pocket is displaced substantially sixty degrees from at least one neighboring pocket. A hammer post, can extend radially from an outer arced surface of the body, and expose a first flat face lying within a 15° tolerance of a first plane that extends through the axis. The hammer post can expose a second flat face lying within a 15° tolerance of a second plane that extends through the axis. In addition, the body has at least two distal ends that that are more remote from the hammer post than any of the at least three pockets, the at least two distal ends providing a gap therebetween that is wider than an inner diameter of at least one of the pipes.

  • Patent number: 9441760
Abstract: A cart has a base; and at least two right-side protrusions, namely, a right-side sub-rail protrusion extending horizontally from the base; and a right-side super-rail protrusion extending horizontally from the base. The right-side sub-rail protrusion and right-side super-rail protrusion are adapted to straddle a substantially horizontal flange of a first rail and the first rail is one among the at least one rail. Further, the base has at least two left-side protrusions, namely, a left-side sub-rail protrusion extending in a direction opposite to the right-side sub-rail protrusion from the base; and a left-side super-rail protrusion extending in a direction opposite to the right-side super-rail protrusion from the base. Further, the left-side sub-rail protrusion and left-side super-rail protrusion are adapted to straddle a substantially horizontal flange of a second rail, and the second rail is one among the at least one rail. A vertical support extends upwards from the base.

  • Patent number: 5472600
Abstract: A gradient density filter made from sheets of blown polypropylene microfibers where the microfibers of at least one of the sheets have an effective fiber diameter less than that of the other sheets is described. This filter is especially useful in solid phase extraction processes, particularly those where biological fluids are being analyzed.

  • Patent number: 5263349
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for extruding molybdenum-rhenium alloys into tubes or pipes. The invention is capable of high temperature extrusion of MoRe alloys, which comprise about 10 to 50 wt. % rhenium, into a seamless piper or tube. The steps of the process generally comprise fabricating a MoRe billet or blank which includes a pilot hole that extends along the longitudinal axis of the billet, heating the billet to a temperature of at least about 1300.degree. C., and extruding the heated billet by operation of an extrusion press.

  • Patent number: 5261592
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for friction welding molybdenum-rhenium alloys which include from about 10% to about 50% by weight. The process of the invention comprises effecting a relative rotation of two MoRe work pieces at rim surface speeds up to about 4,000 to 8,000 inches per minute, forcing the work pieces into frictional contact under an axially applied pressure of about 3,000 to 20,000 pounds per square inch of interface surface.
