  • Patent number: 11330435
Abstract: Techniques for authenticating a mobile user device at a base station of a mobile network, and more specifically for implementing a distributed ledger based authentication that is shared by multiple base stations of the mobile network is provided. In one or more examples, the base stations of a mobile network can act as nodes in a distributed ledger system. A mobile device seeking to gain access to the mobile network can be provided a distributed ledger identification number by a base station. The distributed ledger identification number can be converted to a block of the distributed ledger, and then transmitted to the other base stations (i.e., nodes) that maintain the same distributed ledger. The mobile device can subsequently use the distributed ledger identification number for future access requests at either the same base station, or any of the other base stations that maintain the same distributed ledger.

  • Patent number: 11270299
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and systems for the efficient management of a digital currency system using a cryptocurrency scheme. Embodiments utilize a payment processor computer to manage entities in the digital currency system, which have the rights to generate, distribute, transact with, and redeem units of a digital currency. In some embodiments, the digital currency may represent points in a loyalty program operated by an entity or organization. Transactions performed using the digital currency and rules governing the digital currency can be tracked and maintained in a master ledger maintained by the payment processor computer, and distributed as sub-ledgers to other entities within the digital currency system.

  • Publication number: 20220070353
Abstract: A method of controlling camera and illumination systems may trigger a camera system to start exposing. An illumination system is also triggered to illuminate an infrared exposure of the camera system. The method also triggers multiple camera and illumination systems. In addition, a method of identification by a transmitter is provided. The method provides for modulating an infrared light source with a unique pattern to identify an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and then sending the modulated light pattern to a receiver.

  • Patent number: 11185281
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system and method for providing sensory stimulation (e.g., tones and/or other sensory stimulation) during sleep. The delivery of the sensory stimulation is timed based on a combination of output from a trained time dependent sleep stage model and output from minimally obtrusive sleep monitoring devices (e.g. actigraphy devices, radar devices, video actigraphy devices, an under mattress sensor, etc.). The present disclosure describes determining whether a user is in deep sleep based on this information and delivering sensory stimulation responsive to the user being in deep sleep. In some embodiments, the system comprises one or more sensory stimulators, one or more hardware processors, and/or other components.

  • Patent number: 11141093
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system configured to deliver sensory stimulation to a user to enhance a target cognitive domain during a sleep session. Example target cognitive domains include memory consolidation, vigilance, verbal fluency, sleepiness, and/or other target cognitive domains. The stimulation is adjusted based on the target cognitive domain to be enhanced. Responsive to one or more brain activity parameters indicating the user is in sufficiently deep sleep, the system is configured to cause one or more sensory stimulators to provide sensory stimulation to the user according to a stimulation strategy associated with the target cognitive domain. The system is configured to determine the effect of the sensory stimulation provided to the user using a quantification method associated with the stimulation strategy and the target cognitive domain. The system includes one or more sensory stimulators, one or more sensors, one or more hardware processors, and/or other components.

  • Patent number: 10890588
Abstract: This invention is directed to methods for the facile and accurate identification of cancer cells in a tissue sample, such as a surgical field. In particular, the compositions and methods employ conjugates comprising pro-fluorescent fluorescein based moieties bound to folic or pteroic acid targeting moiety optionally through a linker. The pro-fluorescent fluorescein based moieties are non-fluorescent but capable of being rendered fluorescent by intracellular processes. The conjugates are employed to detect cancer cells that overexpress folic acid receptors thereby providing for differential accumulation of these conjugates in these cells.

  • Patent number: 10885250
Abstract: Electronic design automation systems, methods, and media are presented for clock gate placement with data path awareness. One embodiment involves accessing a circuit design with a clock tree, clock gates, and an initial movement area. A set of positions for a set of data path connection points associated with the data routing lines are identified, along with an expansion direction from the initial placement position toward the set of positions for the set of data path connection points, and the initial movement is expanded to consider additional placement options for the clock gate based on the data path connection points.

  • Publication number: 20200380551
Abstract: A decentralized offer management system is described. An appliance may be capable of storing and managing offers related to the appliance without communication with a central server. The appliance may receive and store offer attributes related to offers received from an offer provider computer. When a user utilizes their user device to communicate with the appliance, the appliance may determine offers related to the stored offer attributes that can be provided to the user. In some cases, the offers may be specific to the appliance or specific to the user. The appliance may send an offer to the user device, where the offer may indicate that the user is to perform certain actions to qualify to redeem the offer. The appliance may verify that the user has performed such actions before enabling the offer to be redeemed.

  • Patent number: 10776513
Abstract: An appliance is capable of storing and processing data related to details surrounding its ownership, behavior, and history within itself in a secure and unalterable way. The appliance may experience multiple transfers in ownership during its lifetime. Certain data stored in the appliance may be encrypted such that only qualifying parties (e.g., owners) may be able to access the data. Some data may remain private to an individual owner while other data may be made available to subsequent owners by passing a shared secret that can be utilized to decrypt the other data. Data may be stored in the appliance in chronological order and may be signed by appropriate parties such that it is not possible to alter the data without detection.
