  • Patent number: 11957246
Abstract: A chair with a transom, a seat support, a back portion, and a combined rock and recline mechanism. The combined rock and recline mechanism has front and rear rocking arrangements configured to enable the seat support and back portion to together rock generally forward and rearward from a neutral position relative to the transom, and a recline arrangement that is configured such that the seat support is in a first at-rest position relative to the back portion when the back portion is in an upright position, and such that reclining the back portion rearwardly from the upright position toward a reclined position moves the seat support upward and rearward from the first at-rest position.

  • Patent number: 11940940
Abstract: A processing device has a plurality of interfaces and a plurality of processors. During different phases of execution of a computer program, different processors are associated with different interfaces, such that the connectivity between processors and interfaces for the sending of egress data and the receiving of ingress data may change during execution of that computer program. The change in this connectivity is directed by the compiled code running on the processors. The compiled code selects which buses associated with which interfaces, given processors are to connect to for receipt of ingress data. Furthermore, the compiled code causes control messages to be sent to circuitry associated with the interfaces, so as to control which buses associated with which processors, given interfaces are to connect to.

  • Publication number: 20230050287
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed for use in identifying and duplicating objects, particularly access devices such as house keys, office keys, automobile keys, and RFID key fobs. Within a singular housing, the customizable systems may include any or all of a key identification system, a key duplication system, an automobile key identification system, and/or an RFID key fob duplication system. Unique capabilities of the systems include the ability to verify that an existing automobile key matches data input by the user pertaining to the associated automobile. Further, the systems reduce frustration, error, and waste by programming a duplicate blank RFID key fob in a fully automated manner within the housing of the machine. To facilitate this process, blank RFID key fobs may be stored inside of the housing within RFID key fob containers that are readily stacked and dispensed.

  • Patent number: 11543354
Abstract: A method for quantitatively and indirectly measuring non-fluorine anti-soil chemistry in carpet applications, is based on a known amount of FI trace to be added along with anti-soil chemistry in formulation prior to application to a carpet surface. The anti-soil chemistry with the trace amount of FI is then applied to the carpet through a topical foam or spray applicator during a precoating process. After completion of the precoat process, a carpet sample is collected, carpet face fiber is shaved, and FI is extracted using water. The extracted water solution is used to measure the fluorescence intensity (in counts per second or “CPS”) using a Fluorimeter.

  • Patent number: 11391199
Abstract: A method of monitoring a turbocharger system makes use of vibrational behaviour to predict potential future failure modes. Changes in sub-synchronous vibrational behaviour of the turbocharger assembly may be used to distinguish between failure modes such as wear and coking. Rate of change of sub-synchronous vibrational behaviour may be used to predict time before likely failure. Also disclosed is a turbocharger system configured to perform the method.

  • Patent number: 11318416
Abstract: A method and system for reducing ion concentration of a solution and converting gas. The system comprising a multi-chamber unitary dialysis cell comprising a gas chamber, a product chamber, and an acid chamber. Ion exchange barriers separate the chambers of the dialysis cell. A first anion exchange barrier is positioned between the product chamber and the acid chamber and a first cation exchange barrier is positioned between the product chamber and the gas chamber. Anions from the solution being treated associate with cations from the acid chamber to form an acid solution in the acid chamber, and cations from the solution being treated associate with anions from the fluid comprising gas to form salt, thereby reducing the ion concentration of the solution being treated and converting at least a portion of the gas into salt.

  • Patent number: 11274597
Abstract: The high pressure compressor wheel of a two stage turbocharger assembly is cooled by charge air bled from the charge air flowpath downstream of the aftercooler. A wastegate may be arranged across the high pressure stage and operated by an actuator which in turn is operable by the static or dynamic pressure of the charge air in the cooling flowpath. The cooling airflow may be blocked to open the wastegate and released or resumed to close the wastegate so that cooling air is supplied only while the high pressure compressor wheel is under load.
