  • Publication number: 20180358004
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and program products are disclosed for spelling words. One apparatus includes a sensor, a processor, and a memory that stores code executable by the processor. The code is executable by the processor to detect, by use of the sensor, an audio input. The audio input includes instructions for spelling a word. The code is executable by the processor to convert the audio input to text. The text includes the word. The code is executable by the processor to spell the word based on a context of the instructions within the text. The instructions include natural language terminology.

  • Publication number: 20180349353
Abstract: For generating a response to a natural language command based on a concatenated graph, a processor identifies one or more relevant data sets in response to a natural language command received from an input device. Each relevant data set includes one of a subject of the natural language command and a subject of another relevant data set. The processor further generates a graph for each of the one or more relevant data sets and concatenates the graphs into a concatenated graph. In addition, the processor generates a response to the natural language command based on the concatenated graph.

  • Publication number: 20180341654
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at an information handling device, user input comprising a query from a user, wherein the query does not comprise an explicit request for visual data; identifying, based upon results of the query, that visual data is associated with the query; and providing, based on the identifying, output associated with the identified visual data. Other aspects are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 9910586
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and program products are disclosed for detecting input gestures. In one method, an input is detected by use of a processor. Moreover, the method may include determining a centric position of the input. A vertical axis and a horizontal axis of a virtual coordinate plane may extend through the centric position of the input such that an origin of the virtual coordinate plane is positioned within the centric position of the input. The method may also include determining that the input includes a circular gesture if the input intersects at least a positive point on a first axis extending through the origin, a negative point on the first axis, a positive point on a second axis extending through the origin, and a negative point on the second axis.

  • Publication number: 20170115737
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, from at least one sensor of a band shaped wearable device, depth data, wherein the depth data is based upon a gesture performed by a user and wherein the depth data comprises data associated with a distance between the gesture and the band shaped wearable device; identifying, using a processor, the gesture performed by a user using the depth data; and performing an action based upon the gesture identified. Other aspects are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20170076508
Abstract: In one aspect, a device includes a processor, a camera accessible to the processor, and storage accessible to the processor. The storage bears instructions executable by the processor to receive data from the camera, establish a three-dimensional (3D) model of at least a portion of a location based at least in part on the data from the camera, identify at least one object at the location from the data from the camera, and associate the at least one object with time-related metadata.
