Abstract: A spinal implant for insertion between adjacent upper and lower vertebral endplates, the device including a first upper surface and a second opposing lower surface for contacting the upper and lower vertebral endplates respectively. The first and second opposing surfaces are connected by at least one external side wall. The at least one external side wall includes at least one entry aperture fluidly connected to at least one exit aperture on the upper and/or lower surfaces and/or internal or external side walls of the implant. The entry and exit apertures are fluidly connected by a conduit.
