Abstract: A wiper blade apparatus having at least one wiper lip for wiping a window in a first wiping direction at least substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the wiper lip and a second wiping direction at least substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wiper lip, having at least one wiper bar unit and having at least one heating unit which is arranged partially at a wiping up side, facing the first wiping direction, of the wiper bar unit and which is arranged partially at a wiping down side, facing the second wiping direction, of the wiper bar unit. It is proposed that the at least one heating unit be constructed to achieve a different heating power at the wiping up side of the wiper bar unit from at the wiping down side.

The identified codes then can be presented to the user in real time. A first user input can be received to select at least one of the identified codes, and the selected code can be added to an electronic record.

The subject polypeptides and nucleic acid compositions find use in a variety of applications, including research, diagnostic, and therapeutic agent screening applications. Also provided are methods of inhibiting aggrecanase activity in a host and methods of treating disease conditions associated with aggrecanase activity, e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, osteo-arthritis, infectious arthritis, gouty arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondolysis, sports injury, joint trauma, pulmonary disease, fibrosis, and the like.

The generated result can be tailored for information privileges granted to the information receiver by an information controller. The result can be conveyed to the information receiver. Feedback can be received concerning the result. At least one of the adjustable conditions can be adjusted in accordance with the feedback. The recorded information can be changed to include the adjusted condition.

Abstract: In a disclosed modular freeze branding method, refrigerant is caused to flow through a first thermally conductive conduit having exposed, coplanar segments that are arranged in the shape of a set of characters. Then the exposed portions are applied to brand a specimen of livestock, after which the flow of refrigerant is stopped. The above acts are then repeated one or more times with different sets of thermally conductive conduit. The conduit of the different sets have exposed segments that form different sets of characters. An operator can employ the method to efficiently apply individual, multiple-digit freeze brands to each of a number of specimens of livestock. Variations and apparatus are also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods of treating and preventing bone loss and/or enhancing bone formation are disclosed. The methods utilize 15-lipoxygenase inhibitors. These molecules can be delivered alone or in combination with agents which inhibit bone resorption or additional agents that regulate calcium resorption from bone or enhances bone accumulation. The invention additionally provides methods of diagnosing a predisposition to bone loss.
