    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-layer tube comprising a polyamide outer layer, a polyolefin intermediate layer and a thermoplastic elastomeric inner layer. The polyamide outer layer provides sufficient mechanical strength and the polyolefin intermediate layer shields the polyamide from contact with water to avoid hydrolytic degradation. The thermoplastic elastomeric inner layer guards against stress cracking in the polyolefin intermediate layer and provides an excellent seal for connection.

    Abstract: The present disclosure comprises a multi-layer tube including an inner layer comprising a thermoplastic material, an intermediate layer comprising high density polyethylene (HDPE); and an outer layer comprising a thermoplastic material. The HDPE intermediate layer is sandwiched between the outer layer and the inner layer of a thermoplastic material. The thermoplastic material is selected to facilitate extrusion and provide a low cost, robust multi-layer tube for any low temperature glycol cooling system applications.
