  • Publication number: 20240054073
Abstract: Circuitry including cache storage and control circuitry is provided. The cache storage includes an array of random access memory storage elements, and is configured to store data in multiple cache sectors, each cache sector including a number of cache storage data units. The control circuitry is configured to control access to the cache storage including, for example, accessing the cache storage data units in the cache sectors. After accessing a cache storage data unit in a cache sector, the energy requirement and/or latency for the next access to a cache storage data unit in the same sector is lower than the energy requirement and/or latency for the next access to a cache storage data unit in a different same sector.

  • Publication number: 20240056431
Abstract: Precomputed and transactional mixing is believed to allow portable devices, such as smart phones, to send and receive messages, with little extra bandwidth or battery usage, while achieving anonymity for senders and recipients among all messages sent globally in batches defined by short time intervals. To learn anything about which inputs correspond with which outputs of such a batch of messages, the entire cascade of mix devices, each preferably operating independently in a different country, would it is believed have to be compromised, None of the real-time computation, neither by the mixes nor smartphones, uses full public-key operations—resulting it is believed in orders of magnitude performance improvement over previously-known systems. Aspects include untraceable return addresses, group chat, feed-following and large payloads. Transaction protocols include a variety of payments use cases.

  • Publication number: 20240054746
Abstract: An electronic device such as a head-mounted device may present extended reality content such as a representation of a three-dimensional environment. The representation of the three-dimensional environment may be changed between different viewing modes having different immersion levels in response to user input. The three-dimensional environment may represent a multiuser communication session. A multiuser communication session may be saved and subsequently viewed as a replay. There may be an interactive virtual object within the replay of the multiuser communication session. The pose of the interactive virtual object may be manipulated by a user while the replay is paused. Some multiuser communication sessions may be hierarchical multiuser communication sessions with a presenter and audience members. The presenter and audience members may receive generalized feedback based on the audience members during the presentation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise apparatus include a first resistance apparatus having an adjusting bracket, magnetic members mounted on an inner surface of the adjusting bracket, a stepper motor having an adjusting shaft and operable to traverse a portion of the length of the adjusting shaft. At a first position, the magnetic members are disposed above a flywheel, and in a second position, the magnetic members are disposed on opposite sides of the flywheel, providing resistance thereto. A load cell couples the adjusting bracket to the frame and generates a signal corresponding to the movement of the adjusting bracket. A computing system calculates resistance, rpms, power from load cell signal, stepper motor position, shaft rotational position and other sensor inputs.

  • Publication number: 20240054121
Abstract: A computing server may scan through a named-entity data store to identify a plurality of candidate named-entity data instances. The computing server may identify one or more upper-level nodes in the corresponding data tree where the named entity is represented as a node. The computing server may determine, for each candidate named-entity data instance associated with the corresponding data tree, geographical location tags of the one or more upper-level nodes. The computing server may determine, based on the geographical location tags, the candidate named-entity data instance is a named-entity data instance typically associated with a geographical location. The computing server may identify a plurality of named-entity data instances that are typically associated with the geographical location. The computing server may aggregate data characteristics of the named-entity data instances that are typically associated with the geographical location.
