  • Patent number: 11860773
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to memory access statistics monitoring are described. A host is configured to map pages of memory for applications to a number of memory devices coupled thereto. A first memory device comprises a monitoring component configured to monitor access statistics of pages of memory mapped to the first memory device. A second memory device does not include a monitoring component capable of monitoring access statistics of pages of memory mapped thereto. The host is configured to map a portion of pages of memory for an application to the first memory device in order to obtain access statistics corresponding to the portion of pages of memory upon execution of the application despite there being space available on the second memory device and adjust mappings of the pages of memory for the application based on the obtained access statistics corresponding to the portion of pages.

  • Patent number: 11863145
Abstract: Automatic gain control (AGC) may be accomplished in a radio frequency (RF) amplifier in a hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network using a wideband RF tuner to select multiple pilot channels (e.g., frequencies in lower and upper portions of an RF signals spectrum) for use in measuring power and determining a correction to be applied to the RF amplifier. The power of the pilot channel or channels may be measured, for example, using a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) from the wideband RF tuner or using a power detector circuit. Using the wideband RF tuner allows selectable gain and/or tilt control across a wideband spectrum, such as a channel spectrum of a CATV downstream RF signal, to maintain stable RF output levels of the amplifier as RF input levels vary. The RF amplifier may be a line extender amplifier used in a CATV HFC network to amplify a wideband RF spectrum of up to 1.8 GHz.

  • Patent number: 11860319
Abstract: A phase-contrast imaging detector includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a detection material that generates a measurable parameter in response to X-ray photons. Each pixel also includes a plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The sub-pixel resolution readout structures are in an alternating pattern with a spacing therebetween that is larger than a frequency of a phase-contrast interference pattern but small enough to enable charge sharing between adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures when an X-ray photon hits between the adjacent sub-pixel resolution readout structures. The phase-contrast imaging detector also includes readout circuitry configured to read out signals from the plurality of sub-pixel readout structures. The plurality of sub-pixel resolution readout structures includes two or more electrodes having alternating arms that form an interleaved comb structure.

  • Patent number: 11858628
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle that is equipped with image capture devices can use information gathered from the image capture devices to plan a future three-dimensional (3D) trajectory through a physical environment. To this end, a technique is described for image-space based motion planning. In an embodiment, a planned 3D trajectory is projected into an image-space of an image captured by the autonomous vehicle. The planned 3D trajectory is then optimized according to a cost function derived from information (e.g., depth estimates) in the captured image. The cost function associates higher cost values with identified regions of the captured image that are associated with areas of the physical environment into which travel is risky or otherwise undesirable. The autonomous vehicle is thereby encouraged to avoid these areas while satisfying other motion planning objectives.

  • Patent number: 11860628
Abstract: To determine a path through a pose configuration space, trajectories of poses may be evaluated in parallel based at least on translating the trajectories along at least one axis of the pose configuration space (e.g., an orientation axis). A trajectory may include at least a portion of a turn having a fixed turn radius. Turns or turn portions that have the same turn radius and initial orientation can be translatively shifted along and processed in parallel along the orientation axis as they are translated copies of each other, but with different starting points. Trajectories may be evaluated based at least on processing variables used to evaluate reachability as bit vectors with threads effectively performing large vector operations in synchronization. A parallel reduction pattern may be used to account for dependencies that may exist between sections of a trajectory for evaluating reachability, allowing for the sections to be processed in parallel.
