  • Publication number: 20230241362
Abstract: A thin walled balloon formed in polymer tubing has a patterned metal layer on its outer surface, created by physical vapor deposition (PVD). The pattern is defined by a stencil mask assembled around the balloon, with the balloon inflated therein. The PVD occurs without deforming or degrading the polymer material of the balloon, by actively pulling heat away from the balloon a) by forming the stencil mask out of metal; b) by providing a metal heat conduction path away from the balloon to a heat sink, such as outside the vacuum chamber, and/or c) by flow of a cooling fluid within the balloon during the PVD process. Proper PVD process parameters are selected to minimize heat generation, such as having argon pressure in the range of 0.8 to 1.2 milli-torr and generating the plasma at a power of less than about 200 watts/square inch of effective target surface area.

  • Publication number: 20230245104
Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system and associated processes for sharing cardholder data (CHD) between a merchant that utilizes tokenization and a second merchant that may or may not utilize tokenization. In one embodiment, the merchant, or an employee of the merchant, can use the system and associated processes to reacquire CHD from a tokenization provider system. In one embodiment, the merchant identifies to the tokenization provider system a desire to share CHD, which is associated with a token, with a second merchant. The merchant and/or the tokenization provider system can then invite the second merchant to register with the tokenization provider system. Once registered with the tokenization provider system, the second merchant can access any CHD that the merchant associated with the second merchant.

Abstract: A system and method for utilizing MD6DM models built from a SNAP case to generate an interactive four-dimensional (“4D”) angiogram, the 4th dimension including the dimension of time. By introducing such a 4th dimension to the angiogram, the example systems and methods enable visualization of a patient anatomy, such as blood flow over time, to be presented to a user in an interactive manner. This allows a user, such as a surgeon, to more effectively visualize and determine, for example, various anatomical features, such as the structure of an arteriovenous malformation (“AVM”).

  • Publication number: 20230246836
Abstract: A method is provided to cryptographically link a physical object to a digital version of the physical object and to maintain in a database of an object management system data regarding the physical object and the digital version of the physical object. The digital version of the physical object is represented as a digital file. The object management system includes a data record for a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag that is associated with the physical object. The NFC tag has a memory and a secure process for obtaining access to the memory. A hash generator generates a Non-Fungible-Token (NFT) of the digital file. The generated NFT of the digital file is added to the database in the data record for the NFC tag. Data related to the generated NFT of the digital file is added to the memory of the NFC tag by a cryptographically secure process, thereby cryptographically linking the physical object to a digital version of the physical object via the NFC tag that is associated with the physical object.
