Abstract: A mobile communication system of a motor vehicle includes a primary antenna. The system further includes a telematics module having a processor and at least one memory including a computer program code. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the system to detect a predetermined vehicle event and measure a primary signal quality of the reference signal received at the primary antenna. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the system to determine a maximum primary signal quality and compare the maximum primary signal quality with a threshold. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the system to determine a defect in the primary antenna and activate a diagnostic trouble code associated with the defect, in response to determining that the primary maximum signal quality is below the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220038264
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for decentralized key generation. In one implementation, a first device is enrolled to a distributed key generation application. A local secret is generated, including a polynomial function and first coefficient(s). Commitment(s) are calculated for the polynomial function and transmitted to node(s) within a decentralized system. A value of the polynomial function is computed with respect to an identifying value that corresponds to a second device. The computed value of the polynomial function is encrypted with a public key of the second device and transmitted to one or more node(s). An encrypted value of the polynomial function computed by the second device with respect to an identifying value of the first device is decrypted and validated. The value of the polynomial function computed by the second device is combined with value(s) computed by other devices to generate a private key share associated with the first device.

  • Publication number: 20220037123
Abstract: A power generator includes a plurality of amplifier blocks and a combiner. Each of the amplifier blocks include one or more amplifiers, and the combiner combines modulated power signals output from the amplifier blocks to generate an RF power signal of a load. The amplifier blocks are controlled to outphase the modulated power signals based on a phase angle. Ones of the amplifier blocks may perform discrete modulation to generate a respective one of the modulated power signals. The discrete modulation includes selecting different combinations of the amplifiers in one or more of the amplifier blocks to change the RF power signal in discrete steps. In embodiments, the amplifiers may be radio frequency power amplifiers.

  • Publication number: 20220034076
Abstract: A ventilated toilet for removing odors from the toilet base includes a unitary molded tank assembly with an integral ventilation cavity formed along the base and the back inside of the water tank. At least one water channel connects a water inlet chamber of the base to the water tank and is configured to channel water into the base when released from the tank, as well as to provide an airflow conduit for odors present in the base to be removed from the base via the ventilation cavity. A flush valve extends through the ventilation cavity to connect the tank and the base, and is sealed in attachment to eliminate egress of odors. The system permits substantial elimination of odors at flush volumes of 1.6, 1.3 or 0.8 gallons per flush by virtue of the enhanced seals and unitary construction. A toilet tank assembly in accordance with the invention is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220034783
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus are provided for cytometer fluidics. In one example, a pressure regulation system is provided for a cytometer fluidics system. The pressure regulation system includes a pressure regulator and a transducer. The pressure regulator pressurizes sheath fluid in a fluid path. The transducer senses a measured pressure in the fluid path independently of the sheath tank. The transducer converts the measured pressure into a voltage. The transducer communicates the voltage to the pressure regulator. The pressure regulator translates the voltage to a regulated pressure that substantially matches the measured pressure. The pressure regulator is the only pressure regulation source in the cytometry fluidics system.

  • Publication number: 20220036702
Abstract: A gaming system includes a server and player device. The server randomly selects shared icons from an icon space then requests a first wager from each player. For each active player, the server randomly selects a set of player icons from the icon space. After the server collects the first wager, the server displays the shared icons to all active players, sets a timer, and requests a second wager from each player. Until all player icons are displayed, each active player is presented a next subset of the hole cards and each player that makes the wager is declared as active. After all player icons are presented, a winner(s) is/are declared based upon a score of the player icons of each player combined with the shared icons. In one embodiment, the icon space includes a cherries icon, a bar icon, a lemon icon, a lucky-7 icon, and a bell icon.
