Abstract: An optical turbulence measurement system may include a camera assembly, a first optics assembly, a second optics assembly, and processing circuitry. The first optics assembly and the second optics assembly may be configured to magnify and direct a portion of a source beam received by a respective aperture to the camera assembly to be received as a two portions of a received beam. The processing circuitry may be configured to receive, from the camera assembly, a data representation of a first received beam from the first optics assembly and a second received beam from the second optics assembly, determine a focal spot displacement variance based on motion of a first focal spot corresponding to the first received beam relative to a second focal spot corresponding to the second received beam, and measure optical turbulence along a path of the source beam based on the focal spot displacement variance.

  • Publication number: 20210406718
Abstract: A method of leveraging a dialogue history of a conversational computing interface to execute an updated dialogue plan. The method comprises maintaining an annotated dialogue history of the conversational computing interface. The annotated dialogue history includes a plurality of traced steps defining a data-flow including input data used to execute a context-dependent operation and output data recorded from a previous execution of the context-dependent operation. The method further comprises recognizing an updated dialogue plan including a prefix of executable steps and an updated executable step following the prefix. The method further comprises automatically computer-recognizing that the prefix of executable steps of the updated dialogue plan matches a corresponding prefix of traced steps in the annotated dialogue history. The method further comprises re-using the data-flow from the prefix of traced steps in the annotated dialogue history to automatically determine input data of the updated executable step.

  • Publication number: 20210408960
Abstract: A solar power system can include a rail and a solar module disposed on the rail. A clamp assembly can couple the solar module to the rail. The clamp assembly can have a clamped configuration in which the solar module is secured to the rail and an unclamped configuration. The clamp assembly can comprise an upper clamp member, a lower clamp member coupled to the rail, and a stabilization member mechanically engaging the upper clamp member and the lower clamp member. The stabilization member can prevent rotation of the lower clamp member relative to the rail when the clamp assembly is in the clamped and unclamped configurations. In the unclamped configuration, the stabilization member can be biased such that the upper clamp member is disposed at a sufficient clearance above the rail to permit the insertion of the solar module between the upper clamp member and the rail.

  • Publication number: 20210402457
Abstract: Tube flaring tool comprising a tube receiving region comprising first and second gripping dies retractable with respect to each other and positionable to cooperatively define an opening for receiving a tube; a first clutch shaft; a support housing having a bore for receiving a second clutch shaft; a clutch plate; a flare forming head operable to flare the free end of the tube; and a biasing member urging the flare forming head axially. The first clutch shaft may have an outer configuration adapted to be engaged by a 12 point or 3/8? square drive SAE ratchet wrench for creating mechanical advantage to actuate the flare forming head. When the force that the biasing member urges the flare forming head axially is overcome, the clutch plate disengages from the second clutch shaft such that further actuation of the first clutch shaft does not rotate the flare forming head shaft, preventing over-flaring.
