Abstract: A cable assembly comprising a termination with at least one conductive, compressible member and a conductive ground shield. The conductive, compressible member may be held within a connector module forming the termination such that the conductive compressive member is pressed against, and therefore makes electrical contact with, both an outer conductive layer of the cable and ground structures within the connector module. In some embodiments, these connections may be formed using a conductive, compressible member with an opening configured to receive the end of the cable therethrough. The conductive ground shield may be configured to compress the conductive, compressible member, and to cause the conductive, compressible member to electrically contact the cable's conductive layer. The conductive, compressible member may be formed from a compressible material and may comprise a plurality of conductive particulates configured to provide electrically conductive paths.

  • Publication number: 20210388715
Abstract: A method for determining a depth of a target layer in a subterranean formation involves obtaining sequences of downhole and offset data. The downhole and offset data are discretized, and labels assigned to the discretized data. The sequences of labeled downhole and offset data are compared to determine a subsequence alignment. A depth for the target layer can thereby be determined.

Abstract: A Secure Access Gateway and Registry is provided for secure access to security related service information, to operate a security feature of a motor vehicle, by a validated Individual. The system is implemented with a general purpose computer, internet, mobile device, and secure data release Registry software application. An Individual is employed as a vehicle service professional. The Individual inputs a Registry Application data. The Registry uses the Registry Application data to generate a background search result data. The Registry uses the search result data to determine eligibility, and assign a Registered Vehicle Service Professional Identification code. The Individual uses the Registered Vehicle Service Professional Identification code to input a Form D1 authorization data, and to access an Automaker website. The Registry uses the D1 authorization data to determine a legal possessory interest in a motor vehicle, to be serviced.

  • Publication number: 20210389097
Abstract: A human transported weapon system is comprised of a targeting subsystem; a sensing subsystem; trigger activation logic; a decision subsystem; and, an aim adjustment controller responsive to the decision subsystem. The targeting subsystem has a field of view in a target area, identifying at least one said target in the field of view as a selected target. The sensing subsystem, senses and tracks location of the selected target through environment in the target area. The trigger activation logic initiates firing of the munitions at a firing time. The decision subsystem, determines where the selected target is located at the firing time, responsive to the sensing subsystem. The aim adjustment controller, adjusts aim of the munition from the human transported weapon, so that the munition will hit the selected target when fired at the firing time, responsive to the decision subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20210386281
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and assembly each adapted for enabling an imaging element cleaning apparatus to be placed through an abdominal wall of the patient without the use of a trocar or cannula. By eliminating the need for and use of a cannular or trocar, such embodiments advantageously overcome dimensional compatibility issues exhibited between the inside diameter of the central passage of commercially-available trocars and cannulas and the outside diameter of the sheath of an imaging element cleaning apparatus comprising such a sheath. Such dimensional compatibility issues are overcome by enabling an imaging element cleaning apparatus of the present disclosures to be placed through the abdominal wall of a patient without the use of a trocar or cannula. As a result, the sheath of the aforementioned imaging element cleaning apparatus can be in direct contact with the abdominal wall tissue.

  • Publication number: 20210389948
Abstract: A mixed-element-size instruction is described, which specifies a first operand and a second operand stored in registers. In response to the mixed-element-size instruction, an instruction decoder controls processing circuitry to perform an arithmetic/logical operation on two or more first data elements of the first operand and two or more second data elements of the second operand, where the first data elements have a larger data element size than the second data elements. This is particularly useful for machine learning applications to improve processing throughput and memory bandwidth utilisation.
