  • Publication number: 20210343316
Abstract: Video and corresponding metadata is accessed. Events of interest within the video are identified based on the corresponding metadata, and best scenes are identified based on the identified events of interest. A video summary can be generated including one or more of the identified best scenes. The video summary can be generated using a video summary template with slots corresponding to video clips selected from among sets of candidate video clips. Best scenes can also be identified by receiving an indication of an event of interest within video from a user during the capture of the video. Metadata patterns representing activities identified within video clips can be identified within other videos, which can subsequently be associated with the identified activities.

  • Publication number: 20210342528
Abstract: Disclosed is a platform that manages worker users in a temporary staffing environment via an artificial machine learning model. The temporary staffing platform matches available workers to available shifts/gigs. Additional features include generating provisional or near-miss matches and informing workers how to turn those near-misses into full matches, plotting a gig-career path to develop additional skills, gamify development, and automatically generate resumes. The platform generates a set of skill tags associated with each shift/gig performed by the user. Designing of resume text files by the artificial machine learning model includes procedurally generated descriptions of experience the a user has based on the recording of each shift/gig performed by the user and the skill tags associated with each recorded shift/gig, wherein a format of the resume text file is formulated by the artificial machine learning model evaluating a mix of skill tags and employers amassed by the user.

  • Publication number: 20210338073
Abstract: A method for controlling the illumination of ophthalmological devices which operate in an observation mode and a recording mode. The method adapts the illuminance from ophthalmological devices which include an observation mode and a recording mode and the illuminance therefrom being increased above a specified value for the radiant flux ?soll for the duration of the recording mode. According to the invention, the illuminance is increased to a radiant flux above the specified value ?soll for the recording mode and lowered to a radiant flux below the specified value for the radiant flux ?soll for a specified period of time after the recording mode has finished. Although the proposed method for adapting the illuminance is provided for slit lamp microscopes, it can be used for any ophthalmological device that has both an observation mode and a recording mode to obtain high-quality, well-lit recordings in the recording mode.

  • Publication number: 20210339233
Abstract: A method of forming an SSZ-13 zeolite in a hydrothermal synthesis yields an SSZ-13 zeolite that exhibits a silica to alumina (SiO2:Al2O3) molar ratio (SAR) that is less than 16:1; has a morphology that includes one or more of cubic, spheroidal, or rhombic particles with a crystal size that is in the range of about 0.1 micrometer (?m) to 10 ?m. This SSZ-13 also exhibits a Brönsted acidity that is in the range of 2.0 mmol/g to 3.4 mmol/g as measured by ammonia temperature programmed desorption. A catalyst formed by substituting a metal into the framework of the zeolite provides for low temperature light-off of the NOx conversion reactions, while maintaining substantial performance at higher temperatures demonstrating hydrothermal stability.

  • Publication number: 20210342342
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for aggregation and management of cloud storage among a plurality of providers via file fragmenting to provide increased reliability and security. In one implementation, fragments or blocks may be distributed among a plurality of cloud storage providers, such that no provider retains a complete copy of a file. Accordingly, even if an individual service is compromised, a malicious actor cannot access the data. In another implementation, fragments may be duplicated and distributed to multiple providers, such that loss of communications to any one provider does not result in inability to access the data. This implementation may be combined with error correction techniques to allow recovery, even with loss of multiple providers. File synchronization may also be faster in these implementations by dividing reading and writing operations among multiple providers.
