Abstract: Disclosed is a BBQ Grill comprising two lower side panels, two upper side panels that are slideably received in the lower side panels. Crossbraces space the panels apart and a grill plate is adapted to detachably engage hooks on the upper side panels. The grill has legs that extend and retract associated with the lower side panels and the upper side panels have a handle assembly with a button to set pawls of a latch plate at selected apertures associated with the lower side panel. Various accessories are disclosed. The grill can be used with wood, charcoal briquettes or a gas burner.

Abstract: Described is a lateral flow high throughput assay device analyzer for preparing and analyzing a plurality of lateral flow assay samples. The analyzer comprises a cartridge stage for supporting an assay cartridge, an elevation adjustment mechanism, and a translation adjustment mechanism for aligning the cartridge stage and assay cartridge relative to a vertical support structure, fluid metering device, and detection device for high throughput lateral flow assay analysis.

Abstract: A parking meter may have a housing that is formed at least significantly of an impact resistant material. In particular, the impact resistant material may comprise one of a polycarbonate copolymer or polycarbonate blended resin, a nylon-based copolymer, or a nylon-based polymer that includes long glass fiber or Kevlar fiber. The housing encloses the parking meter components to provide protection for the parking meter components against an external environment and vandalism attacks.

Abstract: A single space parking meter assembly for retrofitting onto an existing coin vault assembly includes a number of parking meter components enclosed within a protective outer covering that is rotatably or slidably engageable with the coin vault assembly when a bottom surface of the protective outer covering is positioned against or adjacent to an upper surface of the coin vault assembly. A locking mechanism secures the protective outer covering to the coin vault assembly when the protective outer covering is engaged with the coin vault assembly.

Abstract: A substrate is provided herein for supporting at least one optical fiber, and preferably a plurality of parallel optical fibers. The substrate includes a base substrate of a suitable material a longitudinally-extending strain-relief area at one end thereof along a longitudinal axis thereof at least one longitudinally-extending groove, and preferably a plurality of parallel grooves, along the longitudinally-extending axis, and abutting the strain-relief area 10 and a first and optionally also a second transversely-extending trench across the substrate. Two such substrates may provide a bottom plate and a top plate, which are superposed to provide a precursor sandwich which supports one or more optical fibers. The precursor sandwich comprises the top plate which is superposed over the bottom plate, with one or more optical fibers therebetween in the strain-relief area, and with one or more bare exposed optical fibers in the longitudinally-extending groove or grooves.
