  • Publication number: 20240127839
Abstract: Examples of noise suppression controls are described herein. In some examples, an electronic device includes a processor to classify, using a first machine learning model, an environment based on video of the environment to produce a classification. In some examples, the processor is to detect, using a second machine learning model, a situation in the environment based on the video to produce a detection. In some examples, the processor is to control noise suppression on audio captured from the environment based on the classification and the detection.

  • Patent number: 11755199
Abstract: A computer-implemented method causing a linear on-screen keyboard that includes an array of input keys and a focus indicator to be displayed, wherein navigation of the focus indicator to an input key in the array enables a selection of a character corresponding to the input key; and upon determining that the focus indicator has navigated to a first input key in the array, causing one or more utility keys to be displayed proximate to the first input key.

  • Publication number: 20170134471
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for providing real-time communications services to a user. A service node provides user interaction instructions and functional execution instructions to a communication application container executing on a computing host. The user interaction instructions include instructions for the display by a web client of a real-time communications graphical display, such as a softphone graphical interface. A real time communication service is configured by the service node based on user input to the graphical display executing on the communication application container. The service node provides the real time communication service to the user of the computing host based on the functional execution instructions executing on the communication application container.

  • Publication number: 20160100416
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method includes calculating, at a wireless access point (WAP) from a set of WAPs within a network, an interference value for each channel from a set of channels of the WAP. The method includes calculating, based on the interference value for each channel, a total move weight of the WAP. The method includes receiving, at the WAP, a total move weight from each remaining WAP. The method includes selecting one WAP from the set of WAPs based on a random number, the total move weight of the WAP, the total move weights from the remaining WAPs, and a rank of the WAPs. The method further includes changing, if the WAP is selected, a designated channel of the WAP to one of the remaining channels; and sending a signal to modify an active channel of the WAP to correspond with the designated channel.

  • Patent number: 8942721
Abstract: A non-transitory processor-readable medium storing code representing instructions to be executed by a processor includes code to cause the processor to receive from a wireless access point (WAP) device frequency-domain data associated with signals received at the WAP device from a wireless device during a time period. The code includes code to determine multiple frequency-domain magnitudes associated with the frequency-domain data for the time period to define a spectral magnitude signature associated with the frequency-domain data. Each frequency-domain magnitude from the multiple frequency-domain magnitudes is uniquely associated with a frequency bin from multiple mutually-exclusive frequency bins associated with the frequency domain data. The code also includes code to identify a spectral response deviation associated with the spectral magnitude signature and send a location identifier associated with a location of the wireless device based on the spectral response deviation.
