  • Publication number: 20040242056
Abstract: An integrated inspection apparatus for selectively accepting an electrical cable includes a scotchcast having a housing through which the electrical cable extends. The inspection apparatus further includes a block clamp having a passage formed along its longitudinal axis for accommodating a portion of the electrical cable, the portion of the electrical cable being disposed outside of the scotchcast. The block clamp further includes a cap portion which is selectively actuated to provide a compressive force on the electrical cable without deforming an exterior profile of the block clamp.

  • Patent number: 6250955
Abstract: A pigtailed scotchcast assembly includes a first portion adapted to have the pigtail extending from one end and a male end oriented adjacent to another end thereof. A second portion comprising a scotchcast adapted to have the electrical cable extending from one end and a female end oriented adjacent another end thereof, is also included so that the first portion and the second portion are capable of mating with one another. The pigtailed scotchcast assembly provides for the efficient exchange or replacement of pigtails from a pigtailed scotchcast assembly. The pigtailed scotchcast assembly is provided for enabling a quick and efficient exchange and replacement or replacement of pigtails from the pigtailed scotchcast assembly without wire splicing or special tools.

  • Patent number: 5768960
Abstract: A tilt head wrench is provided having a handle with spaced-apart first and second openings each having a different geometrical shape. A tilt head includes a connector part through which extends a connector opening having a third geometrical configuration. A connector shaft extends through the first, second and connector openings. It includes a first end portion having a cross-sectional configuration that is engageable with the first opening and connector opening. The shaft includes a second end portion that is circular and permits free rotation of the head when positioned within the connector opening and second opening. Selective axial positioning of the connector shaft allows the tilt head to be in a locked or unlocked disposition.
