Abstract: A protective respiratory system including: a multipurpose protective respiratory headgear including a nasolabial portion with triangular extrusion shape and an essentially rectangular horizontal recess, configured to receive an exchangeable filter cartridge, and an anteriorly mounted exchangeable filter cartridge, with a structured posterior outlet aperture, as well as method of using the same are described.
