Abstract: A device having at least two grippers (102) for the form-fitting gripping of a bevel gear (1) having a cone face, a heel region, and an axis of rotation (RA). The at least two grippers (102) can be infed radially in relation to the axis of rotation (RA), and each of the grippers (102) has at least one inner region (104) for interacting with the cone face, and a counter holder (103) for interacting with the heel region. Each gripper (102) can have a holder (101) having a changeable angle of attack on an inner region (104) of the holder, and the holder (101) can be movably mounted on the gripper (102) so that it adapts its effective angle of attack in relation to the inclination of the cone face of the bevel gear (1) during radial infeed in the direction of the bevel gear (1).

Abstract: The present invention includes improved medical communication devices, such as nurse call cords, pillow speakers, and the like, that can be used in an oxygenated environment and that can withstand the sterilization and cleaning procedures commonly used in health care institutions. One embodiment of the present invention comprises a hermetically sealed housing and a switch. The switch is located within the hermetically sealed housing and is capable of converting an electrical input into an electrical signal. The present invention may further include a cable that communicates electrical signals to and from the communication.

Abstract: A housing for at least partially housing a boat lift pulley of a boat lift includes a main wall having a substantially vertically disposed wall portion defining an inwardly opening generally concave chamber adapted to at least partially receive therein a boat lift pulley. The main wall includes vertical and horizontal planes disposed substantially normal to each other with the concave chamber being offset to one side of the vertical plane. First and second wall portions of the main wall located at opposite sides of the horizontal plane are adapted for selective removal whereby a gear driven shaft can project therethrough to adapt a housing for selective utilization in either of two positions of installation oriented 180.degree. relative to each other. A peripheral edge portion of the main wall preferably includes symmetrically located fasteners for securing the housing to a companion housing in each of the two positions of 180.degree. oriented installation.

Abstract: A lift is provided for a personal watercraft and includes two relatively elongated channel members each of a generally C-shaped transverse cross-section. A carriage carrying a platform upon which the personal watercraft can be supported is mounted for sliding movement between the elongated channel members through a cable, winch, reversible electric drive motor and associated gears and pulleys. When the carriage is located within the upper channel member, the latter, the platform and the personal watercraft can be swung about a vertical axes to rotate the personal watercraft between two different positions 180.degree. removed.
