  • Patent number: 11911736
Abstract: An exemplary compounding method of controlling a compounding device to prepare an admixture of at least two distinct material sources can include examining material source solutions for incompatibility of the ingredients and operating a first and a second pump to prevent one of the incompatible source solutions from entering a common flow path. The processing method can detect degradation of a fluid line by evaluating one or more of calibration error rate data, cumulative volumetric flow data, or cumulative pump operation data. The processing method can also selectively transfer a first group of source solutions using the first pump, receiving pump data from one or more sensors that sense actions of the pumps, applying fluid correction factors and calculating discrete pump movements, the pump movements being indicative of an amount of source solution displacement by a pump, and operating the pumps to selectively dispense the source solution amounts according to a preparation order.

  • Publication number: 20230380622
Abstract: A beverage brewing system which includes a container and a beverage brewing apparatus. The container may include a body portion defining a cavity containing a beverage ingredient. The body portion may be flexible so that when it is unimpeded during a beverage vend is can expand from an initial volume to a maximum volume. The beverage brewing apparatus may support the container and may include an expansion limiter that can limit the expansion of the container during the beverage vend. The beverage brewing apparatus may operate in a first mode whereby the expansion limiter does not impede the container and the container expands from the initial state to the maximum expanded state during the beverage vend. • Publication number: 20230321653
Abstract: Genome whole chromosome analysis is a critical gold standard method for clinicians to study molecular lesions at single cell level in diseases and cancers. However, they suffer from low-sample-yielding, labor-intensive procedures that require subjective manual involvement of highly trained professionals. Here we disclose new devices, systems, and methods to automate, standardize, and accelerate the digital cytopathological sample and data generation with improved data quality to enable precision medicine and improve clinical practice. This disclosure describes a family of micro-fluidic devices, and accompanying methods for using said devices, to perform cytogenomic analysis on cells, nucleus, vesicles exosomes and their respective chromosomes, chromatins, nucleic acid polymers, subcellular genomic elements and any other dynamic transitional states between these forms.
