  • Publication number: 20240123735
Abstract: Reprocessing of a replaceable supply component may include receiving from an encoding device and using an interface communicatively coupled to the encoding device, a request blob to reprocess a replaceable supply component. The method may include in response to cryptographically verifying the request blob, extracting from the request blob, a supply identifier and raw supply data. The method further includes using the supply identifier and raw supply data, generating a reprocess structure to append or amend original manufacturing data for the replaceable supply component, and providing a response blob to the encoding device, to designate the replaceable supply component as a reprocessed supply component.

  • Patent number: 11919313
Abstract: A print device may include a refill interface, a processor, and a computer readable medium. The refill interface may have an electrical interface for transmission and reception of signals between the print device and a refill container. And the computer-readable medium may have instructions stored thereon that when executed by the processor are to cause the processor to fetch signals, via the electrical interface of the refill interface, from the refill container indicative of a licensed print functionality of the print device. The instructions may also be to enable the licensed print functionality on the print device responsive to the fetched signals and to maintain the licensed print functionality enabled subsequent to detachment of the refill container.

  • Patent number: 11323588
Abstract: Examples techniques to determine print material subscription plans for image rendering devices are described. In an example, data indicative of print material consumption by an image rendering device for a period of time is received at a server. Based on the received data, a print material subscription plan is determined for the image rendering device. Signals to enable provision of a notification corresponding to first print material subscription plan are transmitted to the image rendering device.
