  • Publication number: 20250348895
Abstract: Methods and apparatus disclosed herein reduce signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of monadic scores. An example apparatus to reduce a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of monadic scores, the apparatus includes memory, machine readable instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the machine readable instructions to at least identify a discrete choice probability of selection corresponding to a first product, generate a scale question corresponding to the first product, calculate a monadic probability corresponding to the first product based on the scale question for the first product, and reduce the SNR of the monadic probability by joining the discrete choice probability of selection of the first product with the monadic probability of selecting the first product.

  • Patent number: 11574354
Abstract: A method comprises displaying visual representations of a plurality of product alternatives each including at least one attribute variant to a respondent, receiving from the respondent an indication of a preferred one of the plurality of product alternatives, transmitting a request to the respondent to identify at least one attribute variant of a non-preferred product alternative that is preferred by the respondent to the corresponding attribute variant of the preferred one of the plurality of product alternatives and receiving a response from the respondent identifying at least one attribute variant of a non-preferred product alternative that is preferred by the respondent to the corresponding attribute variant of the preferred one of the plurality of product alternatives.

  • Patent number: 9311383
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for receiving, at a computing device, data from at least one user, wherein at least a portion of the data is associated with the plurality of attribute variants. A variant relationship between one or more pairs of attribute variants of the plurality of attribute variants is determined based upon, at least in part, at least the portion of the data. The distance between the one or more pairs of objects is adjusted based upon, at least in part, the variant relationship between the one or more pairs of attribute variants of the plurality of attribute variants.

  • Patent number: 7308418
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus for conducting market research and developing product designs. The methods involve generating and presenting, typically electronically, generations of design alternatives to persons participating in the design, selection, or market research exercise. The participants transmit data indicative of their preferences among or between the presented design alternatives. Some of the data is used to conduct a conjoint analysis or non-convergent exercise to investigate the drivers of the preferences of the group or its members, and at least a portion are used to derive follow-on generations of design alternatives or proposals. The follow-on designs are preferably generated through the use of an evolutionary or genetic computer program, influenced by the participants' preferences.
