  • Publication number: 20180027786
Abstract: This invention references a product and related methods for transforming a common soft body fishing lure into a materially different lure. By adding the buoyancy invention and one or more related components in the prescribed manner, the flotation, appearance, and movement of a soft body lure is changed to a completely different fishing presentation and application. The invention and related methods are not limited to a single common soft body lure shape but can also be used with custom soft body lures specifically designed to attach to the invention.

  • Publication number: 20100153143
Abstract: A travel planning system that implements seat availability determinations is described. The planning system includes a scheduling process for determining a set of instances of transportation that satisfy a user query and a faring process that determines fares valid for at least some of the instances in the set of instances of transportation. The travel planning system also includes an availability process that uses results from a single source of seat availability for a mode of transportation to determine a set of available instances of transportation and determines whether the results from the single source are reliable.

  • Publication number: 20090234682
Abstract: An availability system used for a travel planning system includes a cache having entries of availability information of seats for a mode of transportation. The system includes a cache manager that manages entry information in the cache so that information in the cache is correct, current, complete or otherwise as useful as possible. The cache manager determines when a stored answer is stale and, if a stored answer is stale, sends an availability query to a source of availability information.

  • Publication number: 20070055555
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for interfacing between information requesters and information sources. In an embodiment, information is obtained from one or more information sources in response to client requests. In an embodiment, information received from information sources is cached for future use, such as for future client requests. In a caching embodiment, information can also be received by monitoring traffic between an information source and a third party, and/or by proactively querying the information sources. Proactive queries can be generated to populate a cache and/or to update presently cached information. In a caching embodiment, the invention includes methods for determining whether to respond to a request for information out-of-cache and/or with real-time information from an information source. In an embodiment, the invention interfaces with airline availability information sources.

  • Publication number: 20060053054
Abstract: Techniques, for automatically determining frequent traveler award redemptions by rule are disclosed. The frequent travel award redemption program is encoded in rules using predefined data structures based on fare by rule data structures. The techniques automatically determine a travel itinerary based on a query and the rules. Also included is a graphical user interface that displays a plurality of possible travel options for redemption using a frequent travel award. The rules include fields to determine co-pay options and for calculating mileage purchase options.

  • Patent number: 6216920
Abstract: A combination spray bottle and paper towel holder configured and arranged to prevent an edge of a roll of paper towels from being damaged by condensate and/or fraying, comprising a body having a shaft, a base, a hand grip, a flange, a threaded screw-top; a tensioner; and a spray assembly. The body serves as a reservoir for liquids. The roll of paper towels is inserted over the shaft, rests on the flange and does not contact the base. The tensioner maintains pressure on the roll of paper towels, preventing the uncontrolled unrolling thereof. The tensioner is attached to the spray bottle at two attachment locations, located on the body at locations beyond either edge of the roll of paper towels when the roll is inserted over the shaft. At least one of the attachment locations is such that the tensioner is releasably attached thereto.

  • Patent number: 4823727
Abstract: A pressure indicator for use in a pneumatic circuit. A rolling diaphragm (14) is mounted within a housing (9,10) and divides the housing into first and second regions (15,16), one sealed from the other. The diaphragm has an outer sleeve section (18) and a connected inner cup section (19) lying within the outer sleeve section, the outer surface of the cup section and the inner surface of the sleeve section both being subject to pressure in the second region. An indicator (22) is seated within the cup section. The cup section is biased towards the first region against pressure therein, and into a position wherein the indicator lies substantially wholly within the cup section and is shielded from view thereby. The housing has a transparent section through which the indicator may be viewed as it moves out of the cup section in response to increasing pressure differential between the first and second regions.

  • Patent number: 4786298
Abstract: A filter assembly (1) comprises a fluid tight housing (6, 7). First and second coupling means (10 and 11) are provided on the housing, each coupling means providing adjacent flow channels into the housing. A filter element is located within the housing, the element having a fluid tight external wall (20) and a filter medium (19) housed within the wall. A first flow path is established between the first and second coupling means through the filter element, while a second flow path between the first and second coupling means is established within the housing but outside the external wall of the filter element.

  • Patent number: 4701258
Abstract: A filter housing comprises a body (1) designed to provide at least one flow path (8) therein. A filter may be secured to the body in operative connection with the flow path. The flow path opens into a substantially planar external face (9) of the body, and behind that external face the body is formed with passages (15a) lying one to each side of the opening, each passage having an internal wedge face facing away from the external face (9) and lying in a plane that makes an acute angle with the plane of the external face. When two such housings are placed with their planar external faces one in contact with the other and with their flow paths in axial alignment, they may be connected together by drawing wedge members (20) into the passages of the respective housings to draw the housings tightly together.

  • Patent number: 4696687
Abstract: A filter pack comprises a first housing member (1) having an inlet port and an outlet port (4) for compressed air; the outlet port being connectable to a piece of equipment, for example a spray gun. A second housing member (6) is removably fitted into the first housing member through an opening (5) therein and has a section (8) protruding from the opening. A retaining ring (12) releasably secures the two housing members together. The second housing member is at least partially filled with activated carbon filter material (18). A wall area (19) of the second housing member is formed with an inlet into the interior thereof, and the wall area combines with part of the first housing member to form a chamber (15) in communication with the inlet and outlet ports. The protruding section (8) of the second housing member has an outlet (9) for connection to an airline, the flow path from the inlet port to the outlet of the second housing member being through the chamber and then through the filter material.

  • Patent number: 4361001
Abstract: A hover-type lawn mower being provided with a cover which fits over the shroud or housing for the rotatable blade. The cover is provided with openings so that the air flow therethrough forms an air cushion and also transports cut grass and leaves to a collecting area in the cover. The cover is further provided with releasable fastening means to the shroud, so that the cover can be removed when it is desired to empty the collected cut grass and leaves therein.
