  • Patent number: 11674304
Abstract: The invention relates to a bracket to restrain a partition wall in the interior of a building. The bracket comprises a body having a generally hollow sheath and a shaft that is slidable within the sheath to adjust the bracket. The bracket is particularly suitable for supporting internal partition walls of buildings that are located in areas prone to earthquakes and high winds because the bracket allows for the wall to be laterally supported while also accommodating vertical movement experienced during building deflection and inter-storey drift without transferring compression and expansion loads onto the partition wall.

  • Publication number: 20210236254
Abstract: Disclosed is an applicator comprising or including, a dosing body including, at least one barrel; a piston moveable within the at least one barrel to stroke between a variable first position and a second position. In use, movement of the piston towards the first position can draw a first fluid into the barrel, and movement of the piston towards the second position can force the first fluid out of the barrel. There is at least one fluid inlet valve to allow the fluid to flow into the at least one barrel at least under action of the piston, and at least one fluid outlet valve to allow the first fluid to flow out of the at least one barrel at least under action of the piston.

  • Patent number: 10904182
Abstract: A method and network for transmitting a message from a sender to a recipient wherein the sender has no previous knowledge of the recipient's identity. A method is provided for registering a user with a web-enabled database service by providing correlating data on the user's identity and vehicle license plate number and/or other vehicle identifying information. A sender observing a vehicle can send a message to the recipient by logging onto the service and sending a message including the license plate number of the vehicle or other vehicle identifying information. The service will forward the message to the recipient by looking up the vehicle information, discerning the most appropriate communications method(s), and causing the message to be transmitted to the recipient or stored for later delivery.

  • Patent number: 10043792
Abstract: An apparatus including an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection device comprising a semiconductor having first, second and third regions arranged to form a transistor, wherein the first region is doped with a first impurity of a first conductivity type and is separated from the second region which is doped with a second impurity of a second conductivity type opposite the first type, and wherein a dimensional constraint of the regions defines an operational threshold of the ESD protection device. In one example, the separation between a collector and an emitter of a bipolar transistor defines a trigger voltage to cause the electrostatic discharge protection device to become conducting. In another example, a width of a bipolar transistor base controls a holding voltage of the electrostatic discharge protection device.
