  • Publication number: 20180205668
Abstract: The use of traffic flag symbols allows a large number of CPEs to transmit traffic notifications to a network controller. In some such embodiments, hundreds of CPEs simultaneously transmit traffic flags on different subcarriers of a channel. For example, in a MoCA2 based access network, up to 480 CPEs can transmit flags in only 5 ?s in the 100 MHz-wide channel.

  • Patent number: 10020820
Abstract: An LDPC parity check matrix includes a systematic portion having a plurality of systematic elements and a parity portion having a plurality of parity elements. The value of each systematic element determines a cyclic shift to be applied to rows of an identity submatrix corresponding to that element. The value of each parity element determines a cyclic shift to be applied to rows of an identity submatrix corresponding to that element. The weights of two or more columns of the parity portion are the same.

  • Publication number: 20180130553
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for collecting a plurality of medical images. A method includes displaying a list that includes an indication corresponding to each image of a plurality of medical images of a workflow, wherein the indications are listed based on a sequence defined by the workflow. The method includes receiving a selection by a user indicating a specific image to be acquired from the plurality of medical images. The specific image is selected in an order different than defined in the sequence based on a position of an imaging target allowing for capture of the specific image. The method includes acquiring the specific image and displaying an updated list to omit an indication corresponding to the acquired specific image of the plurality of medical images.

  • Publication number: 20180019892
Abstract: A method, system and computer program for transmitting at least two payloads in a downstream traffic phase of a time-division duplex (TDD) cycle with a single preamble from a headend followed by concatenated payloads without intervening preambles, whereby the payloads are ranked by increasing modulation profiles. The preamble, and concatenated and ordered set of payloads are then transmitted to two or more predetermined customer premise equipments (CPEs).

  • Publication number: 20160087425
Abstract: Arc flash mitigation devices are employed to protect personnel during maintenance of photovoltaic inverters. During normal operation, an alternating current (AC) output of a photovoltaic inverter is coupled to a low voltage winding of a step up transformer through a bus-bar (e.g., an electrically conductive interconnect), which has higher current rating than a fuse. During maintenance, the bus-bar is replaced with the fuse. The fuse may be employed in conjunction with a switch. The switch may be a disconnect switch that places the bus-bar in parallel with the fuse during normal operation, and decouples the bus-bar from the fuse during maintenance. The switch may also be a transfer switch that places either the bus-bar or the fuse in series with the AC output of the photovoltaic inverter and the low voltage winding of the step up transformer.

  • Patent number: 9270401
Abstract: A method of transmitting orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) signals includes transmitting, at a first transmitter of a network, a first stream of data having a first number of symbols over a first time interval using a first set of one or more OFDMA subcarriers. At a second transmitter of the network, a second stream of data is transmitted having a second number of symbols over a second time interval, different in duration than the first time interval and overlapping the first time interval. The second burst of data is transmitted using a second set of one or more OFDMA subcarriers. The first time interval and first set of subcarriers define a first time-frequency grant, the second time interval and second set of subcarriers define a second time-frequency grant, and the first and second time-frequency grants are granted by a network coordinator node of the network.
