Abstract: An iterative turbo decoder and method for error correcting communication signal data are provided. The decoder implements a stopping rule through use of signature codes to determine whether successive iterations of decoder data are the same.

Abstract: A system for locating electromagnetic signal sources via the rotational Doppler effect whereby a radar station generating electromagnetic signals, such as radar frequency signals, initially scans the sky for aircraft. An aircraft having the system operationally installed thereon and utilizing apparatus or navigational systems already present on the aircraft receives radar signals. The system is programmed to capture radar signal parameters and extract the rotational Doppler frequencies induced by the motion of the aircraft. The angular velocity of the host platform is often the dominant source of this frequency; however, lateral velocity is not detrimental to the process. The measurement of the rotational Doppler frequency is accomplished through antennas presently installed on large numbers of military aircraft with no requirement for phase calibration of the electrical paths between antennas and receiver.

Abstract: An exercise device is releasably attached to a wall adjacent to a doorway and includes a spring-biased arcuate lever arm having a resilient pad on one end. A user leans against the pad and moves the lever arm against the force of the spring to exercise his or her abdominal muscles, oblique muscles and/or lower back muscles and/or neck muscles by using the device with the forehead, sides and back of head. This builds strength in the front neck muscles, the sides of the neck and the traps as well as the extensor muscles of the neck that hold the head up.

Abstract: An inventory management system establishes remote, non-contact counting techniques whereby large numbers of units in inventory can be tracked and tabulated quickly. The system includes microelectronic transponders associated with inventory units. The transponders can communicate with computer controllers and automated data processing over standard telephone lines by using typical telemetry or other communication systems.
