    Abstract: A lifting and movement system for lifting a c shelving having a plurality of shelf units and for moving the shelving along a floor. First and second frame structures are defined by interconnected modular frame assemblies so as to have sufficient length to extend along the entire length of shelving. Wheels or casters are mounted to the first frame. A second, movable frame is in vertically movable assembly with the first frame and has shelving engaging components for lifting shelving. A plurality of lift elements are supported by the first frame and provide support for the second frame and the shelving engaged thereby. A power system is in controllable relation with each of the lift elements and is selectively actuatable for selective lifting or lowering the shelving.
