  • Patent number: 7676947
Abstract: A label printing kit, system, and method of use is disclosed which enables a user to print and easily apply labels to one or more units of a product with precise registration of the label on each unit of the product. The system utilizes labels with adhesive on a backside and a jig so that the labels can be easily, rapidly, and precisely applied manually to one or more units of a particular product, item or object.

  • Patent number: 6929209
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatically retracting cardholder or accessory holder which, when worn, retains and automatically reestablishes the desired orientation of the card or accessory to user. A longitudinally flexible tape is used, with a non-circular cross-sectional geometry having a long and short axis and lateral stiffness. The tape passes through an orifice in the housing that geometrically corresponds to the shape of the tape, thereby obviating the tape from passively rotating about its long axis, or, due to the inherent memory of the long axis rotation of the tape, automatically reestablishing the desired orientation of the tape rotation if the tape is twisted by the user. The means for attaching the card or other accessory to the tape is such that the orientation of the accessory to the tape is fixed. Thus, the orientation of the card or accessory to the housing, and consequently the user wearing the housing, is fixed thereby.

  • Patent number: 6615460
Abstract: The invention describes a lanyard coupler or buckle with an optionally manual or automatic breakaway feature. The buckle includes insert and receptacle members, each of which have a variable insert stop means that can mutually interact either adversely or reciprocally when the insert is placed within the receptacle. Adverse interaction results in partial insertion, frictional coupling, and an automatic release of the members upon application of tensional force. Reciprocal interaction results in full penetration and a locking interactional coupling of the insert arms with the receptacle. Manual compression of the arms is then required for separation of the two members. Lanyard and card attachment means are provided on both members.

  • Patent number: 5940229
Abstract: A device and method for generating images of a computer user and the surrounding area behind the user. A mirror (24) has a reflecting surface (32) and a support (22) supports the mirror adjacent to or on a computer monitor (6). The mirror is positioned relative to the computer monitor so that the reflecting surface reflects an image of an area in front of the screen display towards the eyes of the user. In this manner, the computer user can monitor the surrounding area to ensure that confidential or personal information on the computer monitor is not seen by others. In addition, the user can inspect his or her own appearance prior to or during video communication with remote users.

  • Patent number: 5758780
Abstract: A suspension bracket (10) holds a bound article (12, 86) in a suspension rail frame (14, 82). The suspension bracket has a structural arm (32) with an ear (24) on each end, adapted to hang from rails of the suspension rail frame, and a support arm (34), adapted to fit between pages of the bound article. The support arm and structural arm are attached at one end by a hinge (20) and at the other end by a latch (22) which removably attaches the support arm to the structural arm, to holds magazines, books and the like in the suspension rail frame.
