    Abstract: A method for providing advertisements on mobile communication devices includes identifying at least one URL link to which it is desired to add an advertising functionality and adding the advertising functionality to the at least one URL link. Upon the addition of the advertising functionality to the at least one URL link, selection of the at least one URL link results in opening both a primary first web page directly associated with the at least one URL link clicked by the user and a secondary second web page.
