Abstract: The present invention relates to a tray carrier having multiple shelves that extend in a ramp-like manner above a horizontal base portion at an angle of about forty-five degrees. Each shelf can support an otherwise flimsy tray of bedding plants, allowing the plant trays to be easily lifted and carried. The tray carriers can also be stacked on top of one another without damaging the plants by placing the base of an upper tray carrier on the top edge of the shelves of a lower tray carrier. Thus, the tray carriers can be used to transport and display plant trays in a more efficient manner.
