    Abstract: A system and method for ultrasound treatment is presented. The system and method alternatingly provide microbubbles in a target region containing a biomineralization, then insonate the microbubbles using an external ultrasound source. The microbubbles cavitate in the target region, destructively affecting the biomineralization and potentially breaking it or reducing its mass over time as a result of the cavitation action. Spatial orientation or alignment of the external ultrasound source may be achieved for best results using acoustic signatures and spectral representations of the same.

The cap assembly includes a lid having a planar wall with top and bottom surfaces. The lid defines a channel extending between the top and bottom surfaces and receiving the downstream end of the conduit. The system further includes one or more fasteners for attaching the lid to the sea strainer and sandwiching a seal between the lid and the top rim of the sea strainer.

Each channel of the multi-channel amplifier circuit is configured to actuate a distinct subset of the plurality of transducer elements. The multi-channel amplifier circuit is configured to operate in each of a plurality of states, each state of comprising a set of frequencies at which each channel of the multi-channel amplifier circuit is configured to actuate the distinct subset of transducer elements. The multi-channel amplifier circuit is further configured to switch between the plurality of states, thereby causing the plurality of ultrasound transducer elements to produce a frustum-shaped beam.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented control system and method for dynamically managing airflow in an air lubrication system of a vessel are disclosed. Real-time sensor data including vessel motion, acceleration, and speed-through-water are processed by a controller executing a machine learning model to predict near-future sea-state conditions. The controller accesses and interpolates computational fluid dynamics (CFD) efficiency profiles to determine target airflow values and generate valve and compressor commands that modulate airflow to multiple outlets beneath the hull. Feedback from hull and pressure sensors is used to stabilize the air layer, while a learning-based prediction engine continuously refines CFD profiles to improve operational efficiency and reduce parasitic load. The system enhances vessel hydrodynamic performance and fuel economy under varying environmental conditions.
