Abstract: The present invention provides improved footwear that overcomes many of the limitations of the prior art. A shoe according to the present invention, includes a sole member with an upper surface for receiving a user's foot and a lower surface for contacting a support surface. The sole member has a first sidewall and a second sidewall that are spaced apart and extend between the upper and lower surfaces. The sole member also has a slot defined therethrough, with the slot extending between the first and second sidewalls. A strap has a pair of opposed ends and a midportion therebetween. The midportion is designed to be received in and retained by the slot. The slot also has a closure member for joining the opposed ends. When the midportion of the strap is received in the slot and the closure member joins the opposed ends, the strap and the sole cooperate to form a shoe upper for receiving the foot.

Transmission of the essence of a graphical image is accomplished by fixed and variable length portions. The fixed portion describes the type of command and the size or length of the variable length portion. The variable length portion describes the detailed information need to properly process. Thus, the complete length of data is known a priori. While a network is constipated or congested and a drawing operation is being performed by a user, the communication endpoints are configured as non-blocking, commands are stored in a FIFO (first-in, first-out) queue, and the operating system reports how much of the drawing operation was transferred. After the network becomes unconstipated, writing of any partially written command or stored commands in the queue are completed. The graphical image may be displayed in a window or canvas designated for drawing.

Each gaming terminal uses the seed to generate a random number which determines the win/loss outcome. Two terminals configured to play the same game which receive the same random number seed will generate the same random number.

Abstract: A lower draft arm extension link stop in a tubular member of a lower draft arm of a three-point hitch for engaging the extension link in its extended position. The extension link is provided with a relief portion which clears the stop when the link is angular inclined so that it can be withdrawn from the tubular member. The tubular member includes a latch, axially aligned with the stop, for holding the link in its contracted position.

Abstract: An adjustable lift link on a three-point hitch having a self-locking handle and retainer for selectively adjusting and holding the adjustment of the lift link. A stop on the link selectively provides the float or fixed length positions of the link of the three-point hitch.

Abstract: A draft load sensing mechanism for a vehicle having a torsion bar carrying the draft load from the lower draft arms which produce a torsion load on the bar. A preload adjusting screw applies a preload torque to the torsion bar and a load limit adjusting screw limits the maximum torque load that can be applied to the torsion bar responsive to the draft load on the vehicle.

Abstract: A sway limiting device for a three-point hitch on a tractor having reversible sway limiting blocks. The sway limiting blocks in one position permit sway of the hitch and implement under field operating conditions and in another position eliminate sway of the hitch throughout the fulllift range of the hitch by interchanging the right and left-hand sway blocks and using the reverse side of the sway blocks.

Abstract: A subassembly for use in a position in draft control linkage for operation by cables connected to position and draft control levers. The subassembly includes a mechanical hydraulic valve operating linkage and a position and draft load and sensing linkage sensing position draft and load of the hitch on a tractor. The subassembly is removably mounted as a unit on the vehicle chassis and can be adjusted prior to positioning on the tractor.

Abstract: A roll paper towel dispenser having stations for primary and reserve rolls of paper toweling. Provision is made for automatic transfer of feed of the paper toweling from the primary roll and then from the reserve roll, the transfer mechanism being operative under the influence of decrease or termination in the tension of the web running from the primary roll to the feed mechanism. Provision is also made for convenient shifting of the roll from the reserve roll station to the primary roll station without the necessity of rethreading the paper web through the feed mechanism.
