    Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a catheter manipulation handle with user interface controls for steering a catheter in situ while providing an augmented (e.g., motorized, powered and tunable precision steering, and perforation safeguards) control and feedback user experience. In an illustrative example, the catheter manipulation handle may provide motor assisted operation to automatically rotate and/or deflect a distal tip of the catheter to steer and guide the distal tip to a target location in the patient's vasculature system. The augmented feedback may include, for example, haptic feedback via the handle. Haptic, audible, and/or visual feedback via the handle may indicate, for example, proximity or engagement of the distal tip with sensitive tissue. In some examples, the handle's augmented operation may advantageously amplify feedback signals to enhance the user's perception of the patient's safety with respect to the safe passage of the distal tip through the patient's vasculature.

    Abstract: An image production device includes a processor, media feed trays having media size sensors, and a marking device. A scanner connected to the processor, scans images on a two-dimensional document and determines one dimension of the document. The processor automatically determines dimensions of media in the media feed trays and compares the dimensions of media in each of the media feed trays to the one dimension of the document. Responsive to the one dimension of the document matching one of the dimensions of the media in one of the media feed trays, the processor identifies a matching feed tray based only on one dimension of the document in the scanner. Media is automatically selected from the matching feed tray and fed to the marking device. The marking device renders images on the media selected from the matching feed tray. The processor outputs the media containing the images.

    Abstract: What is disclosed is a system for determining the size of a document on a platen of a document scanning device. In one embodiment, the scanning device comprises in part: a transparent pane (platen) whereon a hardcopy print is placed; a scan head comprising optical sensors which output a signal comprising an image of that hardcopy print; a plurality of LEDs positioned such that a topside of the platen is illuminated; and a processor for instructing the scan head to pre-scan the print. During the pre-scan, optical sensors comprising the scan head sense light from the LEDs of areas of the platen not covered by the hardcopy print at a first intensity and sense light from the LEDs of areas of the platen which are covered by the print at a second intensity. The processor determines the size of the hardcopy print from the first and second intensity levels.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for a multifunction device, a control system has a processor in data communication with a memory. A local user interface is connected to the control system. A portable data storage device is connected to a port. The local user interface provides user selection of one of mutually exclusive document delivery workflow operations under control of the control system. The local user interface provides user selection of a source for a document recipient's address according to one of the document delivery workflows. Upon selection of the source for the document recipient's address being the portable data storage device, the processor scans the portable data storage device and displays files containing addresses on the local user interface. A user experience feedback commenting module can be associated with the device to permit selection of a feedback mode utilizing a clearly marked toggle (e.g., UI soft- or hard-button) displayed on the user interface. The feedback comment about, for example, a particular device feature can be provided by the user when he or she enters data using, for example, a soft keyboard or other input feature displayed by the user interface. A user interface screen prior to switching into the feedback mode can be captured in response to activation of a screen capture option. The feedback comment can be captured in association with a reference number upon activation of a submit button and then transmitted to a collecting department or organization during a feedback collection mode.
