  • Patent number: 12213204
Abstract: At a UE configured with an idle-mode configuration for using a PUR, determining that data not associated with the PUR is to be transmitted or received via an RRC connection. The UE performs an initial access to a network for the radio resource control connection. The UE transitions from RRC idle mode to RRC connected mode. The UE performs one of suspending the idle-mode configuration or maintaining the idle-mode configuration, for at least a duration of the RRC connected mode. A base station received the initial access, determines the UE is configured with the idle-mode configuration for using a PUR and transitions the UE from RRC idle mode to RRC connected mode. The base station performs communication between the base station and the UE to perform action(s) to modify one or both of the idle-mode configuration or an RRC connection corresponding to the transition into the RRC connected mode.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are provided to enable a receiver device monitoring a control channel configured for carrying information indicating transmission types of point-to-multipoint services detect a point-to-multipoint service of interest. The device can further detect an indication of a transmission type associated with the point-to-multipoint service of interest. In response a request can be sent for a configuration enabling reception of the indicated transmission type of the point-to-multipoint service of interest on a point-to-multipoint traffic channel. • Patent number: 11924886
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable storage medium for transport block size (TBS) configuration. In example embodiments, a terminal device transmits a random access preamble to a network device. The terminal device receives a random access response from the network device. The random access response includes a resource allocated for a reference TBS. Based on the reference TBS, the terminal device determines a TBS for transmitting data to the network device. Then, the terminal device transmits the data to the network device by using the determined TBS and the allocated resource. This TBS configuration is more flexible.

  • Publication number: 20240056776
Abstract: This disclosure presents methods and processes to allow a user equipment (UE) to map a hybrid automatic retransmission request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback to one or more HARQ-ACK sub-codebooks for received services. The one or more HARQ-ACK sub-codebooks can be concatenated into one HARQ-ACK codebook and then communicated to a communication node, when those services use a HARQ-ACK feedback that is scheduled for the same time instance. Various methods can be used for the concatenation order depending on the number of multicast and broadcast services (MBS) for which HARQ feedback is to be provided, and depending on whether HARQ-ACK feedback is to be sent for unicast services at the scheduled time instance. The concatenation order can utilize an increasing order or a decreasing order of the concatenation order parameters.
