  • Publication number: 20160333253
Abstract: Disclosed herein are inversion systems and methods of diluting w/o lattices including about 10 wt % to 80 wt % of a water soluble polymer. Using the inversion systems and methods described herein, dilution of w/o lattices is carried out in a single step to form dilute lattices having 10,000 ppm or less polymer; the dilute lattices form polymer solutions with no further addition of mixing force or water. The solution viscosities of the polymer solutions obtained using the systems and methods of the invention are at least about 80% of solution viscosity expected in the absence of shear.

Abstract: An advertisement management system, a computer-implemented method, and computer readable media to select advertisements are provided. The advertisement management system includes a keyword component, a targeting component, and a merging component. The keyword component generates a lists of advertisements based on keywords provided by the advertisers. The targeting component, executing in parallel with the keyword component, generates another list of advertisements based on targeting data provided by the advertisers. The merging component combines the list of advertisements generated by the keyword component and targeting component based on relevance to user search terms received by the advertisement management system or revenue that the advertisement is able to generate for the advertiser, publisher, or advertisement management system.

  • Publication number: 20070131367
Abstract: Tissue and towel sheets having a pattern of spaced-apart elongated regions of relatively high basis weight oriented in the machine direction of the sheets are produced by forming a molded three-dimensional wet web having spaced-apart ridges and valleys substantially oriented in the machine direction and thereafter flattening the molded web such that the web is buckled upon itself. Upon drying, the resulting tissue sheet has a relatively flat surface texture, yet contains a high degree of cross-machine direction stretch.

  • Publication number: 20050265621
Abstract: A real time 2D deconvolution system and method for processing a time sequence, or video sequence, of microscopy images. A system is provided that includes a first algorithm for processing a first image in the set of 2D images, wherein the first algorithm calculates an estimated point spread function (PSF) by analyzing data in the first image; and a second algorithm for processing a set of subsequent images in the set of 2D images, wherein each subsequent image is processed based on the estimated PSF, under the assumption of slowly-varying image change. A PSF refinement system may optionally improve the PSF estimate, between each image, as computation time permits.

  • Publication number: 20050244480
Abstract: Novel pre-wipes and methods are disclosed for assisting in the cleaning of skin in the anal area. The pre-wipes comprise an anti-adherent formulation and are wiped across the anal region of a user prior to defecation to introduce a film of the anti-adherent formulation onto the anal region. This film reduces the amount of fecal material that is retained in the anal region after defecation and reduces the amount of cleanup required. This reduced amount of cleanup results in cleaner, healthier skin.
