  • Patent number: 9717650
Abstract: A child resistant blister pack includes a blister layer which includes one or more blister cavities for receiving a product. A frangible retaining layer is attached to the blister layer over the blister cavities to retain the product within the blister cavities. A first backing layer is attached to the retaining layer on a side opposite the blister layer. The first backing layer has one or more lines of weakness aligned with the blister cavities. A second backing layer is attached to the first backing layer on a side opposite the retaining layer. The second backing layer has a plurality of removable sections. At least two removable sections are arranged over each line of weakness in the underlying first backing layer.

  • Publication number: 20060022662
Abstract: A system for measuring radiant signals includes a detector circuit for detecting a time multiplexed, measured radiant signal and reference signal. A switch is connected to the detector circuit for receiving signals from the detector circuit. A measured signal sampling circuit, a reference signal sampling circuit, a measured alias circuit and a reference alias circuit are connected to the switch, which is operative for switching among the sampling and alias circuits to remove sampling noise and improve switching latency.

  • Publication number: 20050124307
Abstract: This present invention includes an indoor unit (IDU) and compact outdoor unit (ODU) having an intermediate frequency/modem circuit, millimeter wave transceiver circuit, and digital interface between the IDU and the ODU capable of up to about 100 MBps data rate over at least about a 300 meter cable. The system uses a conversion to the polar coordinate system completes calculations in the polar coordinate system, reducing the computational requirements, and therefore, the size and cost of the system.

  • Patent number: 4294315
Abstract: A landing nipple, adaptable to be made up in a tubing string having a sliding sleeve disposed in its bore for selectively providing communication of balance and control pressure fluid to the nipple bore. When the sleeve is shifted to its first, upper position, balance fluid is conducted via the nipple to a tubing retrievable safety valve placed in the tubing string below the nipple. In the event the tubing retrievable safety valve is taken out of service, a secondary safety valve can be landed in the nipple, the sleeve shifted to its downward, second position, opening sleeve ports for conducting control and balance fluids to the landed, secondary safety valve.
