Publication number: 20230183010Abstract: A compact dedusting apparatus for cleaning particulate materials of contaminates and has a housing defining a cleaning area in which the contaminants are removed to create cleaned particulate material with a product discharge opening through which cleaned particulate material can be discharged. The dedusting apparatus includes an infeed apparatus having a vibratory feed pan powered by a vibration generator to induce vibrations therein. The dedusting apparatus also includes a Venturi chamber to remove contaminants from the particulate material by a flow of air passing upwardly through the product discharge opening. The dedusting apparatus further includes an interchangeable carryover deflector having a chamber extension member that aligns with internal structure to control the flow of particulate material into said Venturi chamber and deflects particulate material entrained in the air flow through the Venturi chamber toward the product discharge opening.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2021Publication date: June 15, 2023Applicant: Pelletron CorporationInventors: Anthony Armenio, Kyle Jacob Wilbert, Peter David Birk

Patent number: 7995673Abstract: A system and method (130, 135 and 140) for a user of a multichannel broadcasting service listening to a particular channel provides alerts about the content currently available on other channels which are of interest to the user. Auxiliary data streams of interest can be presented for display in conjunction with the audio transmission of a related or unrelated channel. The system and method include storing criteria associated with programming or auxiliary content of interest to a user and searching for unique identifiers within the broadcast signal signifying the availability of content which meets the criteria. Content of interest can be, for example, traffic information (105, 110, 120, 111 and 125), sports games available on other channels, sports scores, stock or other trading instruments prices, news headlines or travel information.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2005Date of Patent: August 9, 2011Assignee: Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.Inventors: Kevin Mitzel, Jeff Lockledge, John Dombrowski, David Birks, Ray Lowe, Jerry Tarpley

Patent number: 7093275Abstract: Disclosed is a system and that synchronizes utilization of a data transfer with an audio/video stream. Time information contained within an audio/video stream is monitored for a specified time at which a data transfer may be combined with the audio/video stream. Combination includes logical operations, arithmetic operations, and may include screen windowing or other operations. Time required to request and receive a data transfer may be monitored or estimated such that requests for data are issued in advance of utilization of the data, allowing for data transfer time and network access time or other factors. Requests for a data transfer may be processed employing user information such that returned data transfers reflect a characteristic of the user.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2001Date of Patent: August 15, 2006Assignee: Cable Television Laboratories, Inc.Inventors: David A. Birks, So Vang, David Broberg
