Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for processing search query suggestions. In one aspect, a search service provides query suggestions responsive to a query suggestion request from a client device, and determines if a prediction criterion is met. The prediction criterion is independent of a user selection of a query suggestion provided in response to one or more query suggestion requests. In response to determining that the prediction criterion is met, the search system provides search results to the client device. The search results are responsive to one of the query suggestions provided in response to the query suggestion request or one or more previous query suggestion requests.

Abstract: Techniques for analyzing and synthesizing complex knowledge representations (KRs) may utilize an atomic knowledge representation model including both an elemental data structure and knowledge processing rules stored as machine-readable data and/or programming instructions. One or more of the knowledge processing rules may be applied to analyze an input complex KR to deconstruct its complex concepts and/or concept relationships to elemental concepts and/or concept relationships to be included in the elemental data structure. One or more of the knowledge processing rules may be applied to synthesize an output complex KR from the stored elemental data structure in accordance with an input context. Multiple input complex KRs of various types may be analyzed and deconstructed to populate the elemental data structure, and input complex KRs may be transformed through the elemental data structure to output complex KRs of different types, providing semantic interoperability to KRs of different types and/or KR models.

Abstract: A height-adjustable table comprising a worktop having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end and an opposite second end. The table has a first adjustable leg having an upper end and a lower end wherein the upper end is attached to the bottom surface of the worktop, a first base member attached to the lower end of the first adjustable leg, a second adjustable leg having an upper end and a lower end wherein the upper end of the second adjustable leg is attached to the bottom surface of the worktop, and a second base member attached to the lower end of the second adjustable leg. The adjustable legs allow the height of the worktop to be increased or decreased. The table has an electrical power center attached to the bottom surface of the worktop. The electrical power center moves with the worktop as the height of the worktop is adjusted.

Abstract: In some examples, techniques for virtual storage includes configuring a single physical storage disk to a virtual storage device that includes a plurality of virtual storage disks from a command specifying storage characteristics of the virtual storage disks including number of virtual storage disks, virtual strip size, and fault tolerance of the virtual storage disks. In response to access the virtual storage disks and specifying a virtual storage disk Logical Block Address (LBA), converting the virtual storage disk LBA into a physical storage disk LBA based on a sum of factors that includes a first factor comprising a modulo of the virtual storage disk LBA and virtual strip size, a second factor comprising number of virtual storage disks multiplied by a result of the virtual storage disk LBA minus the first factor, and a third factor comprising a virtual storage disk number multiplied by the virtual strip size.

Abstract: Computer-implemented systems find methods for synthesis of concept definitions and concept relationships from a domain of data, utilizing different semantic processing protocols such formal concept analysis and faceted classification synthesis from existing domain concepts that have a confidence gradient built into them. A cognitive or an input agent provides an input of an active concept which is matched against existing domain concepts. The resultant pool of relevant domain concepts is then used to derive virtual concept definitions using a semantic processing protocol. The derivation is then overlaid with a concept of relative proximity of an attribute from another within an attribute set. An additional layer of coherence is given by the relative proximity measure. The end result is a pool of related virtual concept definitions in a tree structure.

Abstract: A soot generating device suitable for calibration purposes and a method of using the device for calibrating a soot measuring apparatus are presented. The soot generating device includes a wick located relative to a burning zone, a gas diffusion shield surrounding the burning zone that allows a continuous stream of air into the combustion zone, and a fuel supply for delivering fuel to the wick.

A HDMI signal switcher is in the lower compartment and has HDMI input and output connectors. The apparatus includes a plurality of HDMI cables. Each HDMI cable extends from a corresponding opening in the interior panel and has a first HDMI connector connected to a corresponding HDMI input connector and a second HDMI connector for connection to an HDMI signal source device.

The apparatus has a housing structure having a pair of sidewalls, a rear wall, a bottom section and a top section that is attached to the sidewalls. The top section includes a central section and at least one bendable tab extending from the central section to a distal end. The central section has a transverse slot along which the bendable tab can be bent with respect to the central section. The bendable tab can be bent 90° with respect to the central section. The bendable tab has at least one transverse slot along which a first portion of the bendable tab can be bent with respect to a second portion of the bendable tab.

Abstract: A computer keyboard holder has a wall angulated at a predetermined angle. A built-in shelf is offset from the front side of the wall and has a horizontal base that is angulated from the wall. The horizontal base has a top surface for storing objects. The built-in shelf has a back that is perpendicular to the base and a pair of triangular shaped sidewalls located such that the top surface is between the sidewalls. A bracket extends outwardly from a bottom edge of the wall to receive a portion of a lengthwise edge of a keyboard. A keyboard is stored on the keyboard holder by positioning a portion of the lengthwise edge of the keyboard on the bracket and leaning the keyboard against the front side of the wall. When a keyboard is stored on the keyboard holder, the keyboard obscures the view of the built-in shelf.
