  • Patent number: 10032304
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system automatically manages relationships between moving parts of a computer-aided design model. Two parts are selected, the parts being structurally independent of one another. One of the parts is determined to be a driving part and the other part is determined to be a driven part. A new position is applied to the driving part, and temporary constraints between the driving part and the driven part are added. A constraint solver is executed to move the two parts into solved positions. Additionally, after execution of the constraint solver, the added temporary constraints are removed.

  • Patent number: 9807169
Abstract: A system includes a first application and a storage layer running on a cloud computing device, where the first application includes a service layer to interface over a network with a browser application running on a client computing device to provide the browser application access to the first application and a tagging module to interface over a communication connector with a second application running on a remote computing device having a database. The service layer receives requests for data from the first application and provides the requested data from the database. The tagging module is configured to tag a record of the data in response to tag requests from the first application, where the record of the data is tagged by generating an item reference to the record to enable a customized view of the data. The storage layer is configured to store the item references.

  • Publication number: 20150134434
Abstract: The aim of the present invention is to improve the insight provided by conventional consumer studies. This question is particularly relevant in the case of selective products, where consumers rarely have the opportunity to fully compare and test a very wide assortment of products before eventually choosing one of them. The method of the invention provides an indication that a consumer is actually ready to purchase and use a particular product among numerous other products. In the method of the invention, the consumer tests the products one after another in a random order. After having trialed a product, he must indicate whether he is sufficiently satisfied with it, and must make a choice: either the product is sufficiently satisfactory, and the test is over, with the consumer not trying any other products, or else the product is not satisfactory at all, and he goes on to the next product.

  • Publication number: 20060016643
Abstract: A wheel chock having a threaded portion at one end of the chock and extending from the chock, a lower surface of the threaded portion is spaced a certain distance from a lower surface of the chock itself, such that a knot formed below the extended portion would not extend beyond a plane defined by the lower surface of the chock. Alternatively, the extended threaded portion may extend to the lower surface of the chock, but the chock contains an internal cavity of sufficient size to house a knot in a line, without the knot extending beyond a plane defined by the lower surface of the chock. A traction layer may be fixed to the lower surface of the chock to provide additional traction or holding power.
