  • Patent number: 10393610
Abstract: This invention relates to a device and method which can be used to detect the location of one or more leaks within a pipeline, by passing the device along the interior of the pipeline. The device includes audio detection means to detect the presence of leaks. Surface mounted apparatus is also provided to allow the passage of the device along the pipeline to be monitored and the position of the device with respect to the pipeline to be detected.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 11, 2015
Date of Patent: August 27, 2019
    Assignee: Advanced Engineering Solutions Ltd

  • Publication number: 20070267147
Abstract: A plastic device having a ā€œUā€ shape which will slip over a sign. The ends of the ā€œUā€ shape device have enough spring tension to hold the sign firmly in place. The sides of the plastic device permits a sticker to be placed on the plastic device rather than directly onto the sign. Upon removal of the plastic device there is no damage caused to the sign from the plastic device.

  • Publication number: 20070234135
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing the performance of a digital network include capturing a stream of digital data, e.g., internet protocol (IP) packets, that represent streaming video, identifying which of the IP packets include bit errors, determining to which of a plurality of pixels the IP packets including bit errors belong and identifying such pixels as corrupted pixels, and illuminating only the corrupted pixels on a display of a tool. Corrupted pixels in different time blocks can be displayed with different colors to gain a better appreciation of the bit error rate over time.

  • Publication number: 20070223387
Abstract: A direct way to measure network delay of a packet switched network uses a ping signal injected into the voice stream at a source telephone. The ping signal travels together with the voice stream to a destination telephone. The destination telephone detects the ping signal and returns it to the source telephone through the packet switched network. The source telephone detects the return ping signal sent by the destination telephone and calculates the network delay between the two telephones based on the difference between the time of transmitting the ping signal and the time of detecting the return ping signal. As the ping signal travels in the same path as the voice stream, the network delay between the two telephones is calculated directly and accurately.

  • Patent number: 4430371
Abstract: A continuous length of flexible, reel wood veneer produced by a method according to which the veneer leaves are bonded to a non-woven material strip such as bonded viscose rayon which is then severed between the veneer leaves to form foil backed leaves, which leaves are cut with male and female finger ends enabling said leaves to be mated end to end and bonded together into a continuous length, and a plastics or plastics composite foil such as PVC/non-woven material composite foil is applied as secondary backing to the non-woven material-backed veneer, which preferably has a total thickness of about 0.40 mm, including a real wood veneer thickness of 0.15 mm.
