Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides a design system and process to improve the traditional ways of determining the requirements for, and estimated costs of, building a new data center from the ground up or retrofitting an existing facility. The design system and process automates the conceptual design phase for a data center facility. Requirements associated with a proposed data facility may be determined based on current and future needs of an organization, and from those requirements, various feasibility and financial scenarios may be explored. This system and design more easily enable users to evaluate the feasibility, complexity, as well as cost of the proposed data center design.
