    Abstract: A lancing device has a carousel of lancets removably received in a housing. In exemplary embodiments, the lancing device includes a sterility cap positioning mechanism that removes sterility caps from the lancets for actuation and afterwards replaces the sterility caps onto the lancets. Preferably, the lancing device includes a lancet advancing mechanism that automatically advances sequential lancets of the lancet carousel for charging and actuating, and a drive mechanism for actuating the lancets. Also provided are replacement lancet carousels, which include a cylindrical carrier with axial openings and a plurality of the lancets axially oriented in the openings.

    Abstract: A panel bin comprising panel and one or more bins mounted on the panel. Each bin defines a compartment that may be used for storage and retrieval of articles. The panel defines locations for mounting a plurality of bins in a modular or grid-like arrangement. Each bin has side walls interconnected by a wall forming a front surface of the bin. However, each bin is formed with an open back, the bins mount on the panel so that part of the panel engages and closes the open back portion of the bin, thereby defining a complete compartment for receiving articles. Each bin has a cover hinged from the top of the bin and biased by a resilient member to remain open, so that the cover normally is displaced from the access opening of the bin while in use. The cover may be closed and latched to close the bin. The resilient member contacts but is not attached to the cover.
