  • Publication number: 20210269297
Abstract: A pressurized dispensing system including a plastic bottle and a method of minimizing the formation of stress cracks in a plastic bottle that is a part of a pressurized dispensing system. In a method of manufacturing the pressurized dispensing system, a plastic bottle is filled with a liquid, a valve is crimped onto the plastic bottle, and the plastic bottle is filled with gas so as to pressurize the plastic bottle. The plastic bottle is supported only in the finish region throughout the liquid filling, valve crimping, and gas filling steps. The filled and pressurized plastic bottle is substantially free of stress cracks.
