Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing real-time fault management or real-time fault management system (“RFM”). In various embodiments, RFM may receive alerts from or associated with network devices (e.g., layer 2, 3, and/or 4 devices, or the like) that are disposed in a plurality of disparate networks that may utilize different alert management protocols and/or different fault management protocols. RFM may collect, enrich, normalize, aggregate, and display the alerts in a user interface to facilitate addressing of the alerts by a user. To enable continuous and real-time functionality, RFM may be implemented in a plurality of siloed platforms in a primary data center, with processing of alerts being load balanced across the siloed platforms, with mirrored group of siloed platforms in a secondary data center located geographically distant from the primary data center and configured to be on “hot standby” and to completely take over RFM processing operations.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method that allows for police officers to communicate with drivers who have registered with a drivers registry. In this manner the driver is alerted that the stop is by an officer of the law and allows the driver and officer to communicate prior the officer leaving his/her police cruiser. The invention provides a reduced stress experience during traffic stops and keeps situations from escalating.

Abstract: Described herein is a cover for mounting to a door handle (30) comprises two parts (10, 12) configured for mutual locking engagement such that when the parts are brought into mutual locking engagement around a door handle (30) at least a portion of the door handle is substantially enclosed within a cavity (16) formed between the two parts (10, 12). At least a portion of at least one of the parts (10, 12) is coated, impregnated, or otherwise provided with a self-cleaning material. Also described is a push plate device comprising a first plate (72) for fixing to a door; and a second plate (71) configured to releasably attach to said first plate in order to form a composite plate structure (70). A method may include: receiving a search query; searching through a plurality of business records to identify at least one matching business record with a business profile at least partially matching the search query; providing the at least one matching business record for display to a user via a user interface; receiving a selection of an intended recipient selected from the at least one matching business record; generating at least one payment option for transferring, from the user to the intended recipient, a payment amount specified by the user; providing the at least one payment option for display to the user via the user interface; receiving a selection of one of the payment option; and processing the transferring of the payment amount from the user to the intended recipient using the selected payment option.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are four embodiments of a system specifically applicable to the hemodialysis procedure. Two embodiments, configured as single pass and recirculating dialysate systems, control ultrafiltration rate to a preset value and measure ultrafiltration rate and the total quantity of ultrafiltrate removed. These embodiments are useful when the filtration characteristics of the dialyzer, i.e., semipermeable membrane, are constant and known. However, when the filtration characteristics of the dialyzer, i.e., semipermeable membrane, are not constant and known, two other embodiments, configured as single pass and recirculating dialysate systems, control transmembrane pressure to a preset value and measure ultrafiltration rate and total quantity of ultrafiltrate removed. All embodiments are closed systems requiring sealed dialyzers. Each of the foregoing systems include, inter alia, a unique flow measurement pressure control unit which controls fluid pressure and simultaneously meters fluid flow therein.
