  • Patent number: 7150642
Abstract: An irrigation control system having a master control, a plurality of electrical components and at least two coupling devices for connecting one of the electrical components to the master control. The coupling device has a male connector housing and a female connector housing. Each connector housing has first and second ends, with the first ends connected to either the master control or the electrical components. The second end of the male connector housing has a male connector and the second end of the female connector housing has a female connector, which cooperatively mates with a corresponding male connector. The male and female connector housings sealingly mate together to prevent moisture or liquid from entering the male and female connectors. Each connector housing provides a flat area for identification of each connection. The coupling device can be repeatedly taken apart and reconnected without having to replace the coupling device, as with other prior art connectors.

  • Patent number: 6904690
Abstract: A pipe size measuring tool for identifying the pipe configuration, i.e., outer diameter and inner diameter, having a plurality of gauges, each gauge having an open mouth therein. The sizes of the open mouth in each gauge are different from each other. The gauges are mounted together with each gauge having a front end, a body portion and a rear end. The gauges are pivotally mounted together adjacent their rear ends so that they are moveable from a folded compact position to an open position. The front ends are wider than the rear ends and the gauges are thin light-weight. The gauges are of different sizes with the larger open mouths located in the larger gauges with indicia on the gauge which identifies the pipe measured.

  • Patent number: 5875558
Abstract: A measuring tool having a plurality of templates, each template having a socket opening therein. The size of the socket openings in each template are different from each other. The templates are mounted together with each template having a head portion, a shank portion and a rear-end. The templates are pivotally mounted together adjacent their rear-ends so that the templates are moveable from a folded compact position to an open position. The head portions are wider than the shank portions and are thin and light-weight. Openings are provided in the rear ends so that the templates may be pivotally mounted together at the rear-ends. The templates are of different sizes with the larger nut socket located in the longer template.

  • Patent number: 4652813
Abstract: For use with a wiring system having a plurality of wires, a control device having a detector having a plurality of actuatable, observable parts which are numbered, and an electrical circuit coupled with the detector for actuating a specific numbered part thereof when a lead of the circuit is coupled to a particular wire. The apparatus is essentially suitable for use in wiring system in which a plurality of wires extend from respective remote stations to a central station. In one embodiment, numbered resistance modules are coupled to the wires at respective remote locations to assign numbers to the wires, and the control device is at the central station for identifying the wires at the central station by successive actuation of the numbered parts of the detector unit. In a second embodiment, a resistance block is coupled to the wires at the central station to assign numbers to the wires, and the control device is used at the remote stations to identify the wires at such remote stations.
