  • Patent number: 8482444
Abstract: A particular method includes calibrating data capture by a data register, where the data register receives a data signal from an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The data capture may be calibrated by determining a peak value of a set of output values of the data register, where the peak value is determined in response to the ADC receiving a known input signal, and increasing a delay interval applied to registering of a value by the data register when the peak value satisfies a threshold.

  • Patent number: 5946635
Abstract: The present invention relates to a configurable hand held radio monitor for use in monitoring sporting events. In particular, the radio monitor is specifically adapted for automobile racing sporting events and includes an onboard microprocessor for controlling a radio receiver. A removable memory card is provided which includes a series of predetermined radio frequencies which are used by the microprocessor when the memory card is inserted into the radio monitor housing. A removable and replaceable keypad overlay is additionally provided to correspond to the information recorded on the memory card. With the keypad overlay and the memory module, the radio monitor is adapted to operate at a specific racing event or a specific racing division.
